I received this prayer request from Booty!

PLEASE GO IMMEDIATELY TO THIS WEB PAGE.  IT WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!!!!!!

http://www.clarksons.org/photogallery/Iglesia.html

Lord,

I lift up Irmar and Joelimar to you in this terrible time they are going through.  Loosing a husband and father so young is always a terrible thing but to have him taken from them in such a violent and senseless way as they have had done can almost be too much to bear.  Wrap Irmar and Joelimar like babies in Your warm blanket of Grace.  Hold them close to Your breast and love and comfort them as only You are capable of doing.  Give them the peace in their hearts that they need to make it through this terrible time.  Bless those around them who are ministering to their needs.

I ask this through your Son, our Savior.

I also have prayed to our Father that He will be with this family and all loved ones left behind, and please continue to guide them in His path that He has set before them.

Wiley, This little family is now on my prayer list. I will be specifically praying for them every morning.  Thanks for this opportunity. A truly heartbreaking story.  Please update us as you get information. It is good for me to know of the great sacrifices that are made in the name of our Lord and Savior.  Makes me want to do more in my little corner of the world. Also makes me ashamed of how I sometimes whine if things don't go my way.  Peace in Him, Connie

All

When I can get in touch with one of the elders in Cabudare, I will post information on how something can be sent to help out Irmar. I know they did not have much at all.

At times I hate it here.

The two elders of the church in Cabudare are Jose Mejias +058 251 261 6828 and Gladiel Montero +058 251 261 9463. The congregational number is +058 251 262 9249. I just talked to Gladiel, he can be reached by email at [a href=\"mailto:gregorymontero@cantv.net\"]gregorymontero@cantv.net[/a]

I asked him to please collect bank name, International SWIFT code, account name and account number where help can be sent for Irmar and the baby. I will post this as soon as he get's the information to me. I checked and they have a member that can translate english to spanish, so that is not a problem.

Now and this is pure Brojees, and my understanding of the Lord's teachings. Please respect this, from this point forward, I am anonymous in this effort. The only one in Cabudare who knows of any participation by myself is Gladiel and he accepts and will respect my anonymity as well.

Not trying to offend anyone and I believe all understand, this is just the way I understand the Lord's wishes and this is the way I always conduct myself here. I never want the Church of Saint Brojees.

Next Sunday at 10:00 am AST (GMT-4) Cabudare and Barquisimeto will unite in a service to celebrate the life of Joel, we will have our voices lifted in prayer here in our congregations as well. Join us!!

God bless all, will keep you advised.

Very sad.

I will pray for this family.  It is always sad to lose someone.

But there is also comfort in knowing that He is with us, and Joel is with Him.

My 9-year-old son said something "out of the blue" the other day on the way to school.  He said "we shouldn't be sad when someone dies because they get to see Jesus".  I agreed with him, but said the sadness comes from missing for now the person who died, not because they are "gone", because as Christians, we know we will see each other again someday.

I hope and pray that Joel's family will feel God's comfort, and will remember that they will be together again someday.

But it is still a terrible thing for such a young family to endure.

Very sorry for all the pain, but the end is already know; it's a happy one at that.

This is heart-wrenching.  I am so sorry.  May the Lord place His protective hand over his spouse and daughter and care for them.  He is the Father to the fatherless.

That is very sad. That poor little girl who has lost her daddy. The picture of them was heart breaking.

I wish I could do something.
