Okay guys,
Not much action over here on the Presbyterian thread. Hmmm. Looks like I'm gonna have to row this boat alone! LOL
Anyway, I belong to and serve in a Presbyterian Church, the denomination is known as the OPC (Orthodox Presbyterian Church). It has nothing to do with the Greek Orthodox church.
We are a relatively small conservative denomination in the Reformed tradition begun in 1936. J. Gresham Machen was instrumental in the beginning, and men like John Murray and Cornelius Van Til have also been involved in this denomination.
The denomination is confessionally reformed (Westminster Confession of Faith) and has a strong emphasis on Biblical doctrine, worship and missions. We have many missionaries we support overseas and in church plants in the U.S.
Anyway...now you know more about the OPC than you wanted to.
If you're ever in Central Massachusetts, shoot me an email, and you can come worship with us. We don't bite. Well...most of us don't.

Blessings!
