Love for my Brothers and Sisters

Yep here I am again with another dose of encouragement.

As we know, yesterday was Valentines day.  A great holiday if you are taken.  But much like the modern X-mas (I took the word CHRIST out due to they removed CHRIST from that day so they can consintrate on sales.)  I am a scrooge.  I do not believe in romantic love, nor do I believe that he/she with the most gifts is better.

Anyway that was my Rant, I apologize.  Here is my encouragement.

Today I want to talk about true Love.

An example would be found in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13.

1 Corinthians 13 (KJV)
 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Now I only use the KJV which uses the word Charity, your newer versions use the word Love.  The entire chapter is beautiful but where I want to focus is the bolded part.

Why will love/charity only remain?  When we pass on and go to heaven your faith will be gone as JESUS is there.  And much faith has to do with the unseen.  so that leaves us Hope and Love.   Our main hope now is to be with CHRIST when we pass on, and when we pass on and are with our LORD the Hope will Vanish so that leaves us with the most important, LOVE.  Now when we pass on, not only will love/Charity remain.  It will be stronger than ever.  For our Love will be amplified by the pure Love that is CHRIST.

These are a few things I learned from todays Praise service.

Andd the next thing I learned is sweet.

We all know 2 way mirrors.  How they work is 1 side of the mirror is in the light and the other is in darkness.  The light side wil see their reflection, the side in the dark, can see through the mirror like it was a window.  Well this is used to watch Criminals or watch shoppers.  Satan and his followers view our lives like with a 2 way mirror.  Remember the darkness in this senerio is evil.  They are watching our criminal actions and laughing all the way.  Now what you need to do is fill your soul with the light of CHRIST.  It will not happen all at once.  I am still working on it.  But once you remove the darkness from your heart and fill it with the light of CHRIST you will become transperant to them.

Ok, that was my  ::preachit:: for today.

GOD Bless you all,
