Wayne Jackson is one of many "conservatives" who have accepted the idea that the Spirit OF Christ is another "person" and is therefore to be worshipped.

Of course, there is only one God the Father who is to be worshipped. Unfortunately, those who believe in the Holy Spirit often believe that "he" is speaking to or through them. They love to boast about keeping a set of rules proven to be superior to other people's set of rules. That is because everyone can hear the Spirit making sure that what they think is what God thinks.

Early in my childhood I learned in Sunday School about the Trinity. God is a threefold personality of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I've rarely met a Christian who believed differently. If we already worship the Father and the Son, why should it be a problem to also worship the Spirit?

In a sense - yes.  But as has been pointed out, the biblical command is to worship the Father.  IN the gospels Jesus Himself directs our worship to the Father.

Oh how spiders spin thier webs.
It is amazing how many teach errors and others on the basis of those errors then reject what is truth  and then go into another error themselves.
I have no idea who this Mr Jackson is .
Nor what 'conservative' is.
To reject the the truth that the Holy Spirit is not a person .Dneies so many scriptures where it clearly shows he is .Is quite breathtaking.
I do not need to defend the truth .Anybody interested in the truth just needs a KJV and a comprehensive  concordance and then look up ALL the scriptures pertaining to the Spirit of God and thier context and the truth is there for any to see.
Jesus said The words that I speak are not my own words but the father who is IN me he doeth the Works.
Of course the new error which is an old one is also to deny the TRinity of God.
Jesus also said "As the father sent me so send I you"
Did  he not  also say in another place say when the Spirit of God shall come  he shall come upon you and shall be IN you?
How is it then you deny another scripture clearly showing the truth that the Holy Spirit can and does dwell in a person who is cleansed from their sin by the blood of Jesus.
Mr Jackson whoever he is using the faulty logic of his own reasoning jumps to the conclusion that because the Holy Spirit is one part of the trinity of God then we worship the Holy Spirit.
But does not Jesus say they that worship God who is Spirit must worship Him in Spirit and in truth?
That si to say the true worshipers of God.
No man cometh unto the father  lest the |Spirit draw him.
I dont knwo what the restoration movement is suposed to restore.
But what i ahve seen so far it seems to me the restorations of errors long ago discarded by the church.
As to your last remark.
Did nto Jesus say when the Spirit of truth  shall come HE will lead you into all truth?
How is it then you take the errors of one and seem to know it but then make errors of your own.Are you not then doing the very thing you accuse others of doing?

I always worship Jesus.

Jesus has done far more for humanity than the Father and Jesus said if we have Jesus we have the Father also.
we don't need the Father, but we need the Son.

Remember Our Lord said He did nothing except what He saw the Father doing.  So whatever Jesus did for us, it originated in the Father.

Yeah Father humbled me by reminding me that without Him Jesus would not exist and also it was His decision to send him into the world and the sacrifice even His Only begotten Son

By whose authority are we to worship the Holy Spirit?
Certainly not Jesus, for He said "no man comes to the Father than by me." 
 
In the upper room Jesus said to His apostles: And whatsoever you shall ask in my name that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son....I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.
Where is it written to ask anything in the name of the Holy Spirit?
Did not Jesus say to his apostles, "Ask anything in MY NAME and I will do it?
 
If you love me keep MY commandments...Will someone show me where I have been commanded to worship the Holy Spirit?
Is this commandment in His explanatory prayer in Matthew 6:5ff?
Do we find Holy Spirit worship in Jesus' high priestly prayer in John 17?
The answer is "NO."
 
Am I to worship the Apostles? Why not?
Jesus prayed that you and I are to believe on him through THEIR word (John 17:20).
It is through "THEIR WORD" that you and I are even aware that Jesus of Nazareth is the Atonement for sin sent by the Father.....
Think not? read John 16:13-16.
 
Where do we ever read of an apostle ending his prayer in the name of the Holy Spirit?
"Everyone that is of the truth heareth MY voice" said Jesus before Pilate (John 18:37). It is HIS voice that we read in the Gospel. (Ma. 10:18-20).
Only He is worthy of our worship. For it was HE who died for us....
 
We would do well to keep in mind Jesus' prayer. "Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the Son also may glorify YOU: As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.
(John 17:1-2).
Therefore, Wayne Jackson is a fine gentleman and loves the Lord, just not inspiried.

How is it possible to think that the Holy Spirit is the third one of the trinity of God and not worship Him.  There is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  To worship God is to worship all three.  Does that mean that we pray to all three?  I don't think so.  We don't pray to the Son.  We pray to the Father in the name of the Son; i.e., by the power and authority of the Son.  Yet we worship the Son.  So the real question here is what is worship and how do we worship the Holy Spirit.
