Eccl12:13 - How do you OBSERVE the sabbath day?

larry2 - Is the Sabbath Day a part of the law? Yes it is.

Romans 6:14  " - - ye are not under the law, but under grace." Why would I attempt to act any special way to satisfy something I'm not under?

I might ask you also why you break the Sabbath since you are under law?

In Jesus' name

Now if you could answer a few of my questions;

A law was ADDED because of TRANSGRESSIONS.  The word "Transgress" means, ' to break a law, rule, or moral code'.  So what Paul is saying here,  is that a LAW was added because of the 'breaking' of some 'others' laws that were already in place.  And this law that was 'added' was ONLY to be around until Jesus came.

My first question is, What was the 'Law' that was added?  Next;

In my post I gave specific verses of God's instructions for the observance of His Sabbath.
My next question, as I already stated in my post is, no matter the day you choose to worship God on, Where the laws that govern the Sabbath done away with?  And if so, please direct me to the Book, chapt and verse that states so?

I'm sure most would agree that God wants us to set aside a day to worship Him.  I just can't seem to find where He EVER said we can serve Him the way WE want to.  After all, should not the creature OBEY the creator?

You were made, Man was made, to live in accordance with the character of God. Man couldn't figure that out, and so God said, "Here, let me show you what I want." Voila! The Law.

We are told that we are not to allow any person to judge us concerning days, seasons, and whatnot. The Sabbath was given to Israel, not the world. Gentiles are not Israelites and are not amenable to any legal requirement levied on Israel - as a legal requirement.

The Creature is intended to live in the character of the Creator. The Creature is not intended to live accordance to Law at all.

Maybe you didn't understand, or bother to fully read my question.  So here it is again in a different way;

A 'Law' was ADDED to 'Laws' that were ALREADY in place!  What was the 'Law' that was added?

You may or may not know this, but ALL of God's laws were in place WAY before He gave them to Moses.  Just because the first time we have them written down was when they were given to Moses, does not mean they didn't already exist.

So again, "What was the 'Law' that was ADDED"?

Actually, I understood your question just fine - I chose to ignore it. Rather, I addressed the assumption that The Sabbath preceded and therefore takes precedence over, The Law to which Paul normally refers.

So you don't know what 'Law' was added!  Most don't, it's ok!!!
I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion.....

I didn't say it was your fault. I said I was going to blame you.

Sometimes you just have to let it go.

The sabbath was made for man.. and not man for the sabbath.

So the sabbath is really OUR day.

The Sabbath was made for all men kind not just for the Jews.  The Jews were not made for the Sabbath.

Which Sabbaths are you referring to.  The weekly Sabbath or the feast sabbaths?

The same rules apply to both.  God's Sabbaths do not change.

So that would mean the 1st and 7th day of The Feast of Unleavened Bread are Sabbaths.

The Feast of Weeks/Pentecost, which is always on the day after the 7th Sabbath is a Sabbath.

The 1st day of The Memorial of the Blowing of the Trumpets is a Sabbath.

The Day of Atonement is a Sabbath.

The 1st and 8th day of The Feast of Tabernacles/ The End Gathering are Sabbaths.

Notice it is ONLY the days God directs us that are Sabbaths.
