God’s Spiritual Law kept in the spirit and not in the flesh…

Colossians 2:14
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.

1)   What was the handwriting of ordinances that was against us?
Deuteronomy 31:9
And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, and unto all the elders of Israel.
Deuteronomy 31:19
Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it to the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel.
Deuteronomy 31:24-26
And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, that Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, saying, “Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.”

Now, what was the handwriting of ordinances that was against them?
It was the Law of Moses written in a book and placed in the side of the Ark of the Covenant—and now it is on the cross of Jesus Christ, for He has set us free from that law of bondage so we can serve Him more effectively.

Now, the Law of the Lord—His Law of Love which is not grievous…
2)   What is the Law of the Lord?
Exodus 32:18
And God gave unto Moses, when He had made an end of communing with him upon Mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

3)   What is this Law written on stone by God’s finger?
Exodus 20:1-17—the Ten Commandments.

4)   Where is God’s Law placed?
Deuteronomy 10:2 & 5
And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which Moses broke, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which He had made; and there they are, as the Lord commanded me.


In John 14:15 Jesus says,
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”

Jesus was in the very beginning of this world, all through the Old Testament and as we as the New Testament.

In the beginning God…

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…

The three in one: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, all three were present since the beginning and through the generations.

The Law of the Lord, the Ten Commandments is:
a)   Truth = Psalm 119:142
b)   Light = Proverbs 6:23
c)   Righteousness = Psalm 119:172
d)   Points out sin = Romans 7:7 & 3:20
e)   Is not grievous = 1 John 5:3
f)   The Royal Law = James 2:8
g)   Judges all men = James 2:10-12
h)   Is Spiritual = Romans 7:14
i)   Is Perfect = Psalm 19:7
j)   Placed inside the Ark = Deuteronomy 10:2 & 5
k)   Written by God (Jesus) on stone = Exodus 31:18 & 32:16
l)   The Law of the Lord = Isaiah 5:24
m)   The Law is Just, Holy and Good = Romans 7:12
n)   Is a delight = Romans 7:22 & Psalm 1:2
