God may not be the author of confusion... but you are one of the most confused individuals I have seen on this site.

FYI... your arguments would carry more merit if you used a decent translation of scripture.

Seriously... anyone that still uses the flawed KJV needs their head examined.

And none of your arguments prove that the 10 commandments are still perfect.. or even applicable in the New Covenant.  Jesus didn't even seem to think it worth his time to restate them.

The Holy Spirit is given to thouse who obey God's commandments.  The Holy Spirit works in us through a process call sanctification that lead us to a even better obedience to the Law of God.  Acts 5:32

And we are his witnesses of these things; and [so is] also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him

Quote
The sabbath is a recurring theme in the Mosaic Law.  I am not a Jew, or bound by the Mosaic Law.  The early Christians met for worship and teaching on the 1st day (Troas - Acts 20). Read Gal. 5:4

I read it!

It reads

1: Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2: Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3: For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4: Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

where do it say that you are not to keep the sabbath ?

What exactly is you question....because I no you have read Paul said in Romans 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. and I no you no that Jesus kept the sabbath day and the prophets and the apostles. Lets read about Jesus and Paul keeping the sabbath day.

Apostle Paul understood this he knew and kept Gods law including the seventh day sabbath. Now lets take a look at; (Acts 13:13-15, 42, 44) (v.13) Now when Paul and his company loosed from Pa’-phus, they came to Per’-ga in Pam-phyl’-I-a: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. (v.14) But when they departed from Per’-ga, they came to An’-ti-och in Pi-sid’-I-a, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. Paul went into the church (synagogue) on the sabbath day the seventh day not the first day (Sunday). (v.15) And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. (v.42) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

The Gentiles didn’t asked Paul to come preach us something different next Sunday. They wanted Paul to preach to them the same thing that he taught the Jews, the next sabbath. Even the Gentiles knew that if they were going to serve the same God that Paul and the Jews (Israelites) served that they would have to serve him on the day that God had set up.

(v.42) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. Not the next Sunday but the next sabbath.

Paul say in Romans  7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Paul is taking about the law here (ten commandments) see Exodus 20th Chapter.

Paul said in Romans  15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Solomon said in Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Lets read about Jesus keeping the sabbath day. Those who say that are christians should follow after christ, right. Shouldn't be no extra commet about not keeping the sabbath day on the seventh day of the week after a person read that Jesus kept the sabbath day.

Luke 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

4:15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Is english your second language?... you are extremely hard to follow and try and come up with a coherant thought in what you post?

You seem to have a problem discerning exactly what law Paul is talking about and tend to lump the Adamic, Noahic, Moasaic and Levitical laws into one big bunch and then throw out the ones you see fit to throw out and keep the rest.

You seem bound and determined to keep your fellow christian's in bondage to some sort of bizarre configuration of 'laws' that you think they should follow.

It's unfortunate that the Holy Spirit hasn't granted you any wisdom to discern the truth.

You also seem to be extremley chronologically challenged and seem to ignore significant events in the bible that changed or fulfilled things.

Especially when it comes to the life of Jesus.. where Jesus let the life of a good Jew to follow the prophesies about him and relate to people of his day... Jesus came to preach to the Jews.. not to Gentiles.  After his Death, Burial and Resurrection, the rules changed dramatically because the old Law was fulfilled and no longer was applicable to man kind.

It's such a shame that you have such blind eyes when you read the scriptures.

And why do you continue quoting the Devil's bible?... maybe that is the root of your problem.

sabbath saturdays  were only  the shadow of the better thing to come.

others can run off to saturday for rest if they want to.

But as for Lutherans

we flee to Jesus

Matthew 11:28
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Colossians 2:16-17

16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.lutherans, another religion that thinks they are gods own. The 7Th day Sabbath is not a type of anything.  This day was sanctified before the Jews existed.  The Col. text that you mention is referring to the holydays and sacrificial system given to Moses for the people of Israel.   These laws and holydays all represented the Messiah to come.  God bless.

You forget that when God created the world, man and his language had not been created until after God has rested on the seventh day and blessed and sanctified it...

Genesis 2:3
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

This link will take you to a Catholic web site, one that is considered acceptable authoritative information by Catholics.
Socrates Scholasticus
A historian of the Early Church, b. at Constantinople towards the end of the fourth century. Wrote this following History book
The book is called: “The Ecclesiastical History” by: Socrates Scholasticus
This quote is taken from book V chapter 22;  “Since however no one can produce a written command as an authority, it is evident that the apostles left each one to his own free will in the matter, to the end that each might perform what is good not by constraint or necessity. Such is the difference in the churches on the subject of fasts. Nor is there less variation in regard to religious assemblies. For although almost all churches throughout the world celebrate the sacred mysteries on the Sabbath of every week, yet the Christians of Alexandria and at Rome, on account of some ancient tradition, have ceased to do this. The Egyptians in the neighborhood of Alexandria, and the inhabitants of Thebaïs, hold their religious assemblies on the Sabbath, but do not participate of the mysteries in the manner usual among Christians in general:”

It is clear from this above quote that in fact the popular day of worship even in the 4th century when this Historian lived was Saturday….Sabbath.   He also points out that Rome and Alexandria were following some ancient traditions.   You have to ask…what ancient traditions?  Below are cannon laws showing the transference of Sabbath to Sunday observance.

Canon 16
The Gospels are to be read on the Sabbath [i.e. Saturday], with the other Scriptures.
For it is evident that by the intention of the Church the whole Divine Office was designed for the edification and instruction of the people, and especially was this the case on feast days, when the people were apt to be present in large numbers.

Canon 29
Christians must not judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on that day, rather honoring the Lord's Day; and, if they can, resting then as Christians. But if any shall be found to be judaizers, let them be anathema from Christ.

Canon 49
During Lent the Bread must not be offered except on the Sabbath Day and on the Lord's Day only.
http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/3806.htm

With these 3 canons we see evidence of Rome  still reading the gospels on Sabbath….we see them outlawing Sabbath Rest…we see them recognizing Sunday worship with the Sabbath importance.   But again keep in mind….most of the Christians at that time did not accept the Roman Churches changes…and continued to keep the Sabbath Holy as God had commanded them to do.

Here are quotes from Roman History which affirm the institution that changed the Holy Sabbath day “4th commandment”, and that there is no evidence in the bible to support the Change by “word of God.”  Could this be evidence of part of the mark of the beast?  You decide.  Jesus warns us of the traditions of men.  This is clearly a tradition of men.

"Sunday is our mark of authority. The church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact." The Catholic Record, London, Ontario, September 1, 1923

"Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act... a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters." Office of Cardinal Gibbons, through Chancellor C. F. Thomas, Nov. 11, 1895

"The observance of Sunday by Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) Church." Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today, by Monsignor Segur, p. 213

"We celebrate Sunday instead of Saturday, because the Catholic Church has transferred the sacredness from Saturday to Sunday at the council of Laodicea in the year of 364 AD." The Converts Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, from P. Geiermann, the work of Pope Pius X, on 1-25-1910

"But the Protestant mind does not seem to realize that in...Observing the Sunday... they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church, the pope." Our Sunday Visitor, Catholic weekly, Feb. 5, 1950

"The Sunday is a Catholic institution, and its claim for sacredness can be defended only on Catholic authority...In Holy Scripture from the beginning to the end we find not one single text which justifies the transfer of the weekly public worship service from the last to the first day of the week." Catholic Press, Sidney, 8-25-1900

Canon 49
During Lent the Bread must not be offered except on the Sabbath Day and on the Lord's Day only.

    Hefele.

This canon, which was repeated by the Trullan Synod in its fifty-second canon, orders that on ordinary week days during Lent, only a Missa Præsanctificatorum should take place, as is still the custom with the Greeks on all days of penitence and mourning, when it appears to them unsuitable to have the full liturgy, and as Leo Allatius says, for this reason, that the consecration is a joyful act. A comparison of the above sixteenth canon, however, shows that Saturday was a special exception.
To the Saturdays and Sundays mentioned by Hefele must be added the feast of the Annunciation, which is always solemnized with a full celebration of the Liturgy, even when it falls upon Good Friday

LOTS OF JUDAISM BUT NO COMMAND: EASTER IS AN ANCIENT BABYLONIAN SERVICE. EZEKIEL NOTES:

http://www.piney.com/MuTammuz.html

http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/3806.htm

THIS IS DESCRIBING THE VARIOUS PRACTICES OF THE PERIOD SURROUNDING EASTER. Socrates refutes them ALL as not commanded.

I never cease to not be amazed that people will twist any truth to justify their fall back under Judaism. If you READ the whole thing you will find many people doing many funny things.  However, as a DEBUNK:

VARIOUS QUOTES

Neither the apostles, therefore, nor the Gospels,  have anywhere imposed the 'yoke of servitude' Galatians 5:1 on those who have embraced the truth; but have left Easter and every other feast to be honored by the gratitude of the recipients of grace. Wherefore, inasmuch as men love festivals, because they afford them cessation from labor: each individual in every place, according to his own pleasure, has by a prevalent custom celebrated the memory of the saving passion. The Saviour and his apostles have enjoined us by no law to keep this feast: nor do the Gospels and apostles threaten us with any penalty, punishment, or curse for the neglect of it, as the Mosaic law does the Jews.
It is merely for the sake of historical accuracy, and for the reproach of the Jews, because they polluted themselves with blood on their very feasts,
that it is recorded in the Gospels that our Saviour suffered in the days of 'unleavened bread.'
The aim of the apostles was not to appoint festival days, but to teach a righteous life and piety.

Marcian had promoted to the rank of presbyter a converted Jew named Sabbatius, who nevertheless continued to retain many of his Jewish prejudices; and moreover he was very ambitious of being made a bishop. Having therefore confidentially attached to his interest two presbyters, Theoctistus and Macarius, who were cognizant of his designs,

Sabbatius being bound by his oath, anticipated the fast by keeping it in private, whenever any discrepancy existed in the time of the Paschal solemnity, and having watched all night,
      he celebrated the sabbath of the passover;
then on the next day he went to church,
and with the rest of the congregation partook of the sacraments.

He pursued this course for many years, so that it could not be concealed from the people; in imitation of which some of the more ignorant, and chiefly the Phrygians and Galatians, supposing they should be justified by this conduct imitated him, and kept the passover in secret after his manner. But Sabbatius afterwards disregarding the oath by which he had renounced the episcopal dignity, held schismatic meetings, and was constituted bishop of his followers, as we shall show hereafter.
