Who, currently a member of the SDA church, has the testimony of Jesus?

Is it possible that anyone in your church has it?

David, do you have the testimony of Jesus?

Whoever shares the truth concerning the testimony Jesus Christ, His birth, life, teachings, death, resurrection, continuing ministry, and promise to return, to name a few, have the testimony of Jesus Christ.  This of course can be shared in truth, only by those who have received the truth from the Holy Spirit of God, who is the Spirit of truth.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth;
whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you..................... ....
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

AMO….

Thank you for your response.  You have included some interesting points that bring the following questions to mind in addition to the question already asked….

1.   Do you (AMO) have the testimony of Jesus?

---additional questions---

2.   What aspects of his “continuing ministry” are part of the testimony of Jesus?

3.   What additional aspects are there to the testimony of Jesus? (as indicated by your phrase “to name a few”?)

4.   What are the indicators that someone has received and now possesses the testimony of Jesus?

And another question for your consideration and response as well:

5.   What did Jesus say was the reason for his birth and coming into this world?

I’m not sure what you mean by "Yes! but not always, I don’t know everything."

It is not possible for a true believer in Jesus Christ to have the testimony of Jesus sometimes and not others.

What does ‘knowing everything’ have to do with the testimony of Jesus?

What do you need to “know” in order to have the testimony of Jesus?

Matt 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it...................... ........................ .......
21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

1.  When I speak by way of conviction of the Holy Spirit of God concerning the truths of the holy scriptures, I most certainly do, as do all others who do also.  When I speak strictly from myself, I most certainly do not, nor do any others when they do the same.  That it is most likely that all Christians will do their share of both, we have examples from scripture regarding the same.  It is no doubt the growing experience of every Christian to learn to speak properly at all times for the glory of God.

2.  That He ever liveth to make intercession for us.  That of sending the Holy Spirit of God to work through us on His behalf.  That of sending His holy angels to and fro in the world to do His bidding, seeing that they are "all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation".  To name a few.

3. I'm sure that encompasses more than I know.

4. - 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Their agreement with, and non contradiction to, the word of God, of course.

5. - John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

The above for one.

This question is answered in the thread titled Bible Errancey, perfect prophecy.

Or you can find it in "A Challenge to my beliefs"
