We should not be "dead to the law" (whatever that means exactly) because one of the functions of the Law is to point us to Christ, our Redeemer from our sins (which the Law exposes).

And in this corner, weighing more than the entire universe put together, the word of GOD.

You never cease, to twist the meaning of the Holy scriptures to your own understanding.  Please take heed to the following warning.

Let us continue on in Romans 7 through some of chapter eight, and get a little context, shall we.

You have twisted the words of the Apostle Paul, to say the exact opposite of what he intended.  Please repent, you are in danger of suffering the destruction which the Apostle Peter warns us about.  You are doing the very thing he warned against, concerning the very Apostle he was speaking of.

You guys are so predictable!  Let me ask the question again...  Is it possible for a sabbath keeper to argue doctrine without accusing their opponents of having a poor character or going to he'll?  Is that possible?

I agree.  Almost all gentile christians have never heard of "havdalah," let alone understand what it stands for or WHEN it is celebrated.

Act 20:7 On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.

While breaking bread is not current practice in havdalah in the Jewish community, it was back then.  The first day of the week started at sundown Saturday.  So Paul then preached until midnight. It is a lot easier to do that if you start at 7 pm than 9 am.........

I have the breaking of bread in my havdalah liturgy, precisely because of this verse.

Jesus is our Sabbath rest the Bible says. God accepts our worship no matter what day or what hour. Why make such a big thing out of something that just doesnt matter to God?

Most of us don't even believe in hell.  Not eternal torment anyway.  I wonder if you could produce a quote from someone saying you have a poor character?  I hope you don't think that anyone who disagrees with you, or feels they should warn you of danger they think you might be in, is saying you have a poor character.  On the other hand, we all have poor characters.  I'm sure the Lord is far from done with any of us.
