Where were the Detroit Tigers earlier in the season?  Tonight they're in the process of posting back-to-back blowouts over the Texas rangers. In their series opener the Tigers pounded the Rangers by a score of 10-2.  In the second game in the top of the 7th, the score is Detroit 18, Texas 6.  It's as though an atomic bomb had blown up in the Rangers' faces.  Funny thing, though: Where would the Tigers be right now if they had played all season long the way they're playing now?
