According to ESPN's Ivan Meisel, "History points to Wolverines rebounding
Rich Rodriguez's track record indicates success in Year 2. Michigan is hoping that pattern continues."
The complete story can be seen at www.espn.com

As a Spartan fan, I hope not.  Another 3-9 season would make this a mighty fine '09.

Hey!  Wouldn't you like to see Michigan and Michigan State wind up #1 and #2 in the nation and play a repeat "backyard brawl" in the national championship game?

Nope.  I would like to see Michigan State #1 and Michigan down to #117.

Brother Gary, I fear you're a tad too jingoistic for my blood.  Both teams represent the state of Michigan, and I'll support both of them.  In the backyard brawl I take no sides, but cheer whichever team comes out on top.

I obviously made the above prediction with tongue in cheek.  Actually, life cannot continue on earth without the colors of both Michigan and Ohio State.  The sun is maiz, the sky is blue, blood is scarlet, and the brain is gray.  We might add here that grass is green and snow is white...So what's all the blood-letting about anuyway?

A Michigan loss is a Michigan State win!  So.............OSU 21, Michigan 0.

Gary, please read my last post and take it to heart.  A great rivalry needs no trash-talk or blood-letting.

Ewigkeit I really don't think so.  I'm not from Ohio but I love the Ohio State Buckeyes, you made a mistake it is Ohio State 21, Michigan 0.  Just got the scores in reverse.

Alabama is one of my other three teams, so now I just waiting for someone to insult Syracuse and Kansas State.

No doubt Ohio State is a great uuniversity with a fine team; however, Michigan is also a great univerit y with a storied football tradition.  During the 90's Michigan dominated Ohio State, and of late Ohio State has dominated Michigan.  This will always go back and forth like the swing of a pendulum.  That score may be wrong, but I do think Michigan is going to win this year, since they're long overdue, and Rodriguez has always succeeded in his second year with any program he's had.

There's a first time for everything.  They won't do better than 6-6, most likely a 5-7 season.
