Michigan State currently has 13 wins this season, 6 direct, and 7 indirectly.  Hopefully, after the game today, they will have 14 total wins.

MSU's record is 6-5, 4-3 in the weakest conference in major college football.

Folks, you know your team is pitiful when you have to track "indirect wins."

Maybe you could submit that to the NCAA - teams could have 3 columns after their names "W - L- IW"

MSU doesn't play in the ACC.  So you are wrong.

We will get to see how good the Big Ten is vs the ACC, they have 2 bowl games:

Chamnps Sports Bowl: Miami vs Wisconsin
Orange Bowl: Iowa vs Georgia Tech

Of course in the only ACC/Big Ten regular season game this year, the ACC clobbered the Big Ten 47-7 (Virginia/Indiana)

So the Big Ten has some catching up to do....

True, but right now it was the only barometer to measure the 2 conferences against each other, after the 2 bowl games we will see which is better or if they are even.
