Ya know, I really think the two worst teams in the nation should get a chance to meet on New Year's Day to give fans a true diversion from the seriousness of the major bowls; thus I propose The Toilet Bowl, and I suggest that the teams to play there should be Michigan and Southern Methodist.

More than likely.  Actually, if you wanted Michigan to have a snowball's chance in the Neatherworld, you'd have to pair them up against a Division 2 or Division 3 team.

You'd think that if Rodriguez was such a good coach he would have adjusted to those pro-style athletes. When Dennis Franchonie went to Alabama, he was known as an option coach. But he got to Alabama and had athletes that were recruited to run I-formation, pro style offenses. So he adjusted and ran an offense suited to his players. He won 10 games his second year and won a bowl game in his first year.

So if Rodriguez is so good, I don't understand why he didn't make adjustments. And I really thought he was a good coach. Now I'm not at all sure. I can't help but think that there's a former Michigan coach laughing his head off.

As a Michigan State fan whose second favorite team is whoever Michigan is playing, I absolutely love Rich Rod as the coach of Michigan.  Rich Rod forgot though, that the Big Ten is light years ahead of the Big Least.

Relax, Guys!  After all, Rich Rod in j2007 came within one game of playing for the National Championship with West Virginia, and I do think Bill Stewart will soon have that program right back on top again.  As for Michigan, I hear he's got a very good recruiting class coming in for next year, in which case, better things are in store for the Maiz and Blue.  If this doesn't happen, well, you know the "M" Alumni Association...Another season like 2008, and Rich Rod will be looking for employment elsewhere.

Bosephas, you were right about the 2nd Stay-at-home bowl; however, I boldly predict that in 2010 one of two things happens: 1.  Michigan contends for the Big Ten title, or 2.  Rich Rod is GONE!

Washington State Cougars should be in the Toilet Bowl, there is no team worse than them in any BCS Automatic Qualifier Conference, they are really bad.

my humble 2 cents
