The term "messiah" is the translation of the Hebrew term masiah, which is derived from the verb masah, meaning to smear or anoint.
"The term "messiah" is not used to refer to anointed objects that were designated and consecrated for specific purposes but to persons only.
Persons who were anointed had been elected, designated, appointed, given authority, qualified, and equipped for specific offices and tasks."
David, the Messiah of the God of Jacob," (2 Sam. 23:1,) King of Israel." Christ comes from the Greek word χριστός (chrīstós), meaning "anointed one." Christ Jesus."
David was Lord over Israel.
Jesus is Lord over creation.
God ruled and judged through His anointed one, His Christ, David. Then You spoke in a vision to Your holy one,
And said: “I have given help to one who is mighty;
I have exalted one chosen from the people.
I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,
With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him.
God rules and judges through His anointed one, His Christ, Jesus.I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him.
-Deu.18:18"Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that
God has made Him both Lord and Christ-- this Jesus whom you crucified."
-Acts 2:36“Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”
'Through a man that God has appointed', But the majority say that Jesus is God, or that he is one of three Gods, one of three in one God or the God man?
None of these ideas are written in the word, there are tweaks to different translations in verses put there by trinitarian scribes and some of the tweaks are very well known, ask yourself why? why do they try so hard to deceive in this area?
The creeds of men?
Its all lies that have been told for so long that the majority believes them, and either way you look at it is insidious error.
I believe this error holds people in darkness, lies that blind the majority from coming to the full knowledge of the truth and receiving light. No lie is of the truth.
Does it even matter? I have asked myself this question for years and I believe it does, I believe this is why there are so many divisions in the body of Christ as there is only one Truth.
Possibly if we all come to this Truth we can become of one mind? I don't know, all I do know is that what they have taught us is a lie, a deception of Satan through man? this is what it seems to be.
I know this sounds crazy to the majority, but if you would just look into it for yourselves without being afraid and ask God. I believe if you truly believe in God with all that you are, He will show you the truth. He told us to ask Him. (Matt. 7:7) Instead of attacking me over this, just ask Him. Empty yourself of man's ideas and creeds, and ask God for the truth. If you don't want to then don't, no need to attack me for trying to help my brothers out of the fire.
I am not going to respond to personal attacks, I have been studying for a long time. I'm just pointing this out as I believe it is my duty and maybe we should be our brothers keeper.Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
John wrote it this way because the Father and the Son are the Holy Spirit, God was in Christ reconciling the world onto Himself...(2Cor. 5:19)...Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him
. -Jhn.14:23Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar,
because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about His Son.
-1John 5:10"Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, 'He is our God
';" -John 8:54For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
Think about it and pray.
