Two Roads, Two Rooms

John Lynch is a pastor, and co-author of Truefaced, and The Cure...

Here's an awesome message from a few years back, "Two Roads, Two Rooms."

It's 45 minutes long, but well worth your time.

Blessings

If you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.

Love the legalist, hate the legalism...

Here's a bump, just in case you hadn't had a chance to watch the video.

I've had some exposure to the "truefaced" guys from a couple of years ago listening to Wayne Jacobson on TheGodJourney.  Good, healthy insight.

"If God was interested in special buildings and professional mediators then the sacrifice of Christ and the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem seems oddly unwarranted."

One thing I think he might have meant >
Fitting in and looking like we're doing fine . . .
can be like we're on the sinking Titanic
and moving our chairs away from the water
that is swallowing the deck.
The rivets have already been stripped
by the iceberg > no reforming and adjusting
and rearranging can save us
while we stay on sin's sinking ship.

I understand I need God to change me with His love so I have His almighty power making me like His love so I do better. And it is easy, in His love, to keep with doing what is good, because His almighty power makes it easy. "'For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.'"  (Matthew 11:30)

But this comes with growing in His love > "until Christ is formed in you." (in Galatians 4:19)
Be patient, "with all lowliness and gentleness,
                       with longsuffering,
bearing with one another in love," (Ephesians 4:2)
