One thing I think he might have meant >
Fitting in and looking like we're doing fine . . .
can be like we're on the sinking Titanic
and moving our chairs away from the water
that is swallowing the deck.
The rivets have already been stripped
by the iceberg > no reforming and adjusting
and rearranging can save us
while we stay on sin's sinking ship.
I understand I need God to change me with His love so I have His almighty power making me like His love so I do better. And it is easy, in His love, to keep with doing what is good, because His almighty power makes it easy. "'For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.'" (Matthew 11:30)
But this comes with growing in His love > "until Christ is formed in you." (in Galatians 4:19)
