Dan it matters little what we think or say~truth is found in the scriptures, so there we must get our answers.
Quote from: Paul
1st Corinthians 1:11-17~"For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect."
Paul baptized very few folks, yet more than Christ did who did not baptize a single person. John 4:1,2.

This does not mean that water baptism is not important, for it certainly is. All believers are commanded to be baptized into Jesus Christ's faith/religion~UNLESS they are hindered from doing so...which would be rare.

Paul wasn't against baptism Dan. He himself got baptized per Ananias' admonition in Acts 22. The fact that he baptized few doesn't mean anything other than he preached and others baptized. Doesn't seem overly confusing to me. Our preacher today baptizes VERY VERY few individuals. Any believer can baptize someone else. It doesn't at all have to be the preacher that preached the sermon. I have baptized several, yet never have preached a sermon. If it is a family member or a close friend, why wouldn't I baptize them? Baptism is NOT in the name of the baptizer, but in the name of Christ himself. Paul actually warned about people attaching themselves to the baptizer.

And  in  1 Cor 12:3 it  reads There  I  make  known  to  you , that  know  one  speaking speaking  by  God's  Spirit says  Jesus  is  ACCURSED  , and  no  one is  able to  SAY  Lord  Jesus  EXCEPT  by  HOLY  SPIRIT .

In  Acts 9:6  Paul  called  Jesus  LORD / KURIOS  which  means  MASTER and  nor  SIR ,

SO  YOU SEE  that Paul  had  the  HOLY  SPIRIT  in  Acts  9:6 and  Rom 10:9  says that , That  if you should  CONFESS  with  your  mouth LORD  JESUS  , and  should  believe  in  your  HEART  that  God  raised Him  from mthe  dead ,  you  will  be  saved .

And  in  1 Tim 1:16  SAUL / PAUL  is the  PATTERN  of the  Ones coming  to  believe on  Him  for  EVERLASTING  LIFE  is  how people  are  saved  by  GRACE .

As  far as to  ACTS  22 :13  Paul was taken  to  Damascus  and met  Ananias and that  VERY  HOUR  Paul was seeing  Ananias and if  YOU  believe  WATER  cleaneth   away  SINS .

Baptism IS the calling upon the lord that Paul did via his baptism and as described in 1Peter 3:21 and following. Baptism is is not like washing dirt off the body, it IS the calling upon the Lord ………….. NASB

The water doesn’t cleanse sins in baptism, it brings one into contact WITH the cleansing agent, the blood of Christ. The water is spiritually inert. That’s why Cornelius had to be water baptized in Christ’s name after the Spirit fell on him just as it did the disciples at Pentecost, FOR A REASON! The text of Acts 10 speaks of the reason - to declare in no uncertain terms TO Peter and the other Jews that God definitely has a plan a plan for the Gentiles.

Dan, I'm sorry, but you are not making yourself clear on exactly what you are attempting to discuss, so, it makes it very difficult to discuss this thread at this point.

Maybe you can clear up the muddy waters and tell us what you are attempting to have a dialogue on.

Are you saying you must be born again and then be baptized? If, so, then I agree~but you are not clear on what you are saying.

Ant  8  souls were  saved by  WATER  , who were  water  baptized , those  in the  ARK  or  those  OUTSIDE  the  Ark  who  were  IMMERSED ?

Baptism is symbolic of what happened on the Ark. No need to be purposely obtuse Dan. The water raised the Ark and saved those inside. And as the rest of 1 Peter 3:21 says, baptism is NOT like washing dirt off the body with water. It IS the calling upon the Lord. Just as Paul arose and was baptized CALLING UPON THE LORD, washing away his sins. What washes away the sins in baptism? The BLOOD of Christ, not the water. The water is the mode God chose for contacting the blood of Christ. In our church that baptizes for the remission of sin and the gift of the Holy Spirit, we sing the song, "What can wash away our sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus." And it is 100% true.

SO  who  were  the  ones that  were  IMMERSED or  SUBMERGED ?

It  was  not  though  in the  ARK ?

Who were they and why  were  they  all  IMMERSED or  SUNMERGED ?

Was  it  because they  were  all  SINNERS ?

And  I see    DRY  BAPTISM  and  a  WET  BAPTISM ?

Do  not  believe it  ?
