What do ya think about a couple of questions I have on Esther.

Esther 5,  After she receives the golden scepter, then requests a banquet for the king and Haman.
Well, at the banquet she requests another banquet for the king and Haman before disclosing what she wants to say. Why do you think she requested another banquet first?

Also, my second question I forgot at the moment, So I will type it later.  God doesn't let me get a lot of sleep, see...

First, I am sorry you have trouble sleeping. I struggle with that as well. It is very taxing on the spirits.  ::hug::

Second, I always thought the first banquet, Ester got cold feet and chickened out; so she had to call the second one. ::shrug::

Chickened out. Maybe.  I was wondering why she would even dare to ask again.

Well, because she chickened out, she *knew* that she *had* to speak for her people, so she sucked it up and forced herself to speak rather than give into her fears.

I struggle with fear...so this "do over" resonates with me.  There have been a TON of times that I disobeyed out of fear, but then repented and went back for a "do over."

She may have chickened out...or, she may have been lef of the Spirit to call a second banquet.  The second time was truly God's timing.  If she had told her plight the first time it may not have worked out the way that it did.
