How is the Kingdom of Heaven like a wedding feast? also..

How is the Kingdom of Heaven like a wedding feast? also..if its like a big banquet, then I dont understand why none of the invited guests actually went? Jesus says its like a feast, so why not go? It says besically that everyone had more 'important' stuff to do, but what is more important than a free all you can eat (I assume) banquet? I dont see the connection.  Im familiar with the interpretation of the invitations as pointing to Jewish rejection of the prophets and then of the Messiah, but how exactly is the Kingdom of Heaven actually like a big banquet?   Thanks!
(this parable is from Matthew 22:1-14)

You're correct, the feast is like a big lavish banquet that the guests could enjoy for free, but for reasons of their own they could not bother doing what was necessary to attend. The similarity is that if Heaven is a free gift to us and it is as wonderful as we have been told, why are we not all jumping at the free offer. Sounds pretty simple, yet people still scoff at the notion.

Because it's a spiritual place  where you can dine on the love joy and peace of the Lord who is all. No one goes there unless they go into the spirit realm, into him. They don't do the work in the realm of the spirit. We all are invited but few actually go. Find a area you are lackin in and he has all. Then get the word and then pray until it now is yours. Get the Gate in the spirit realm it's fun. Then release it at will. When you own it you will know. Do it for 2 months. Like the joy The the Lord is your strength.believe it. Not your joy but his...is your strength. The table is full

It's not about feeling it because you will not at first . Not maybe for months . Keep decreeing the written word into the air around you with force. All that is within you even over your unbelief. But mark my words ....no not mine , but the word of the Lord. It will happen because he doesn't lie. Be blessed
