a Christian who doesnt love his neighbour and doesnt treat them right everyday but ask Jesus for forgiveness everynight and accepts him as his saviour...

That guy isn't a Christian.  Hence, you've built a false argument here.

I concur.

Matt, the Bible is silent on the subject or reincarnation. Therefore it is unscriptural. According to the Bible, once you die, your soul goes either up or down. I don't think it's mentioned in the Bible.

This is a straw man on two fronts.

For one, biblical silence is not proof of anything, pro or con.  It just means the Bible writers didn't discuss it.

Secondly, yes, the Bible does refute reincarnation.  Hebrews says that we each get one chance, and then we face judgment.

cause i believe in reincarnation..it only makes sense...people are born into a starving family in africa and die after just 3 years of life while other people are born into rich families and have everything they ever wanted....i believe we all have many lives so we can experience it all including being female and male

 No worries

Even Hindus (the world's most fanatical believers in reincarnation) don't believe that.

MindOverMatter,

It seems like you are searching for something.  First you came here wanting a comparison between the Bible and the Qur'an and now you want to pursue answers in reincarnation.

Do you know what you are looking for?

I agree And as it is appointed unto men to die once, but after this the judgement. Hebrews 9:27

Just a question concerning past life regression, couldn't this phenomena be no different then a medium or a spiritualist that communicates with entities and and tell people intimate details of their loved ones life? Or could this be similar to some kind of possession like seen in Acts 16:16?

There are a few things to consider after watching the video.

First, we are not privy to all of the influences the boy has been experiencing, and so we cannot rule out some purposeful or unintentional leading by others.  Second, we are not privy to the counseling techniques that led to some believing this to be reincarnation, except for the fact that the primary counselor believes in reincarnation.  Maybe some leading going on there as well?

One more thing, even if this was some supernatural phenomenon, it does not have to automatically be reincarnation.  It could be the ghost of the dead pilot manifesting in the boy, or some other thing.

but you would admit the most logically explanation for this would be reincarnation

Reincarnation is the last belief system I would define as logical. For one given the population explosion and the vast increase of people from just a hundred years ago, where did all these peoples souls come from? If reincarnation takes place as described in the Bardo Thodol then people are recycled like so many cans or bottles to make new ones, except for the elect few with realize that nothing is actually everything and everything is actually nothing then they get whisked away to nirvana (not the band). So if this were the reality (or nothingness according to them) then population would be at a general constant and sharp increases in population at necksnapping rates like today would render such a hypothesis as complete balderdash.

Unless you want to start suggesting that people reincarnate from lower kingdoms like insects or animals into humans, but I think you will be hard pressed to find someone that claims they were a insect or a barnyard animal in their past life.

Face it reincarnation is not logical, its ludicrous.

There are so many fake videos out there and I wouldn't be surprised if that whole story is a sham to convince gullible people who are looking for hope outside of Jesus Christ of life after death. I have heard it said people will more easily believe a lie then they will the truth and I believe that is just the case with you and this video. If you want to wager your soul on a video on youtube be my guest, just don't say you weren't warned.

By the way, I would rather be closed minded than to be so open minded that my brains fall out...
