To me he's the poster-boy for everything that's wrong with televangelism.  He's nearly a cult leader at this point.

I've heard Christians and non Christians alike criticize him. I don't agree with his take on the rapture, but I did like to listen to him preach about prophecy. (he's no longer available to listen to here) Oh, and sometimes he yells too much for my taste. I don't think we need all that showmanship, just speak to me!

Since he has said numerous times that Catholics like myself are going to burn in hell, then I am going to have to say that I don't particularly like his brand of bigotry.

Well just not who I want to watch, pretty much sums it up.  But pray for him to become a nicer Person, as when we do it makes us nicer people.

Hagee left his first wife for a member of his church. This , in my mind, taints his ministry beyond his hatefilled words.

TV preachers are there any good ones?

I've started watching him and just wondered what you all thought since I haven't heard any scandals on him yet.

I think his ministry is very misguided and cult like... you have to take what he says and test it against scripture and you will find that he is very wrong in his teachings... imo

CHRISTIAN ZIONISM AND ETHNIC SALVATION

by G. Richard Fisher

“An astonishing and horrible thing has been committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own power; And my people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?

He actually left his wife for a member in his church. Wow!
But I saw her sitting on a pew. And isn't the young preacher his son?

Thank you for this article. Apparently he did leave his wife plus two children behind for another life. Does anybody know where she and the children are and how they're doing?

I certainly don't believe the Jews can get saved any other way than through and by Christ. The Bible says there's no difference between the Jew and Greek.

I feel like I was deceived by Preacher Jimmy Swaggart and I don't want that to happen again. Maybe there really aren't any TV preachers worth listening to.?

Check out the following link.

http://www.blog.joelx.com/pastor-john-hagee-cornerstone-church-ministry-heresy-divorce-dirty-deeds/910/

If you "google" John Hagee, there are pages and pages of information about him and his ministry.

My Dad loved Hagee, but mostly because he always tells funny little jokes during his sermons.  Not because of his message.  I always thought he is too much of a government basher.  Seems to hate everything connected with USA government.  Well, my attitude is:  If you hate it so much, LEAVE!

Personally, I don't listen to or watch any TV evangelists, nor do I listen to any on the radio.  Each one has their own agenda (mostly lining their pockets with more and more money), and watching this one and that one can lead to much confusion about doctrines, teachings, etc.  Personally, I can't understand why there's a need to listen to so many different preachers.  Why not simply listen to your own pastor and then study for yourself to "shew thyself approved."

God Bless.

Thanks for the link and the advice.
We didn't listen to any either until we started watching him a couple of weeks ago.
Back when Jimmy Swaggart got caught we watched Hagee some but then we just quit the TV preachers.

Most of them, as they are not pure, but are variants on the word of God.  Thus, a little leaven leavens the WHOLE lump, and it is all unclean.  There is a difference between leaven and ignorance.  His is leaven.

I think he's wrong on end times, Israel, and he's a hypocrite - I have heard him rail on people who drink or smoke and he's too fat to tie his own shoes.  He's also ALWAYS begging for money, as his ministry is ALWAYS in the "biggest fight" of their lives.

Some people just rub you the wrong way.  Hagee does that to me.

It's sad, but people really get duped by things on TV.  Take Little House On The Prairie, from back in the 80s?  Such open and blatant humanism.  And against authority.  We have a generation of Christians who consider this a good, godly show.  NOT.  And they praise the late Mr. Landon.... such a good man, etc., but he left his wife and kids of many years for a young, hot blonde.  It's amazing what believers can dupe themselves to believe, just because it has pandered to their flesh and their carnal mind.

Where is the hatred of sin?  Where is the repulsion for sin?  Where is the fear of God?

I long to see such in the church.

It's next to impossible to find on TV, wether "christian" programing or not.

Little discernement.  Even less recognition and concern about that fact.

This is disturbing.

But the way that Christ and His apostles said it would be.

I only watch the news most of the time. That's dangerous enough, most of the commercials are directed by the devil.

He preaches eschatology in such a way as to create fear among his listeners.  Then he exploits that fear for monetary gain.
