Dear Brother Marc, hopefully what we say and do is a light unto them which are in darkness, and as unto a light that shineth in a dark place. Sometimes we are the only gospel others will ever see or hear.
This little light of mine; I'm gonna let it shine   Clapping up high

"The Gospel of Me"--

Sounds a bit self-centered.  But, without a context or frame of reference, I can only guess.

Which is kind of my point.

I had a very negative reaction when I read this phrase, then I went on to read that the author was talking about the way we live out the gospel in our lives.

Yet I can see critics trashing the author, saying, without context, that he promoted "the gospel of me", a gospel centered on what the believer wants, not on what God wants.

The Good News (aka "Gospel") of Me kind of sounds like my testimony of Jesus in my life. Is it kind of like that?   Scratching head....a little confused.

I think that's what he meant.  Somehow it wasn't the first thing I thought of, though.

I just watched "Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins" last night.  He alluded to this on his talk show.

"The Good News of Me"   Sounds like a fun children's book...for kids with low self esteem ... well ...that was my reaction.
