29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Bonnie....The key to what you just posted here is in verse 29

Hebrews 10:19-38 is about being sure of our ability to confidently approach God through Christ

This is not directed toward those who are Saved and lie or those who are Saved and cheat on their taxes, those who are Saved and commit adultery in their heart or hate their neighbor.

The greatest sin, the one Jesus is most concerned is not believing in Him and His Ability to do what He came to do....Atone for our sin, once and for all

This is directed toward those who count Jesus Blood and the Spirit of Grace inadequate for achieving the purpose for which they were given.
Trampling Jesus Blood under foot as if it did not fully pay our debts
Trampling His Blood underfoot as if the Spirit of Grace ( The Favor of God ) given those who believe in Jesus is worthless.
This is written regarding those who have a disregard for the Grace of God and the Blood of Jesus and continue to rely on their own efforts trying to attain right standing through the Law disregarding the Grace of God given us in Jesus.

This is written toward those who continue to labor and tell other believers they must not rely believe and depend upon Jesus finished work as if He did not achieve what He came to do.

God is not a schizo He is not going to punish you for the same punishment He has already laid upon Jesus.

It was all LAID UPON JESUS...Gods righteous demands against sin have been punished in the Body of Jesus!!

That was uncalled for.  Is it ever any different when it comes to discussing anything with you? And even worse, you follow up the denigration with a "God bless". The juxtaposition says a lot about you, not Bonnie.

the only law that Moses gave to Israel that was replaced is the law of animal sacrifice! thats it!

Most won't consider that the works that the Lord requires us to do is keeping his words. It is written that man shall live by every word of Jesus.

Mt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

is not this work on our part. trying to live by every word of Jesus will require work.

its not our work or words.

it is his words and his work that's required by us and those who believe in him.
