AND  behold a  certain lawyer stood up and tested HIM, MASTER, what shall  I  do to INHERIT  Eternal life?

 He said unto him,  What is written in the  LAW?  How readest thou?

 And he answering him said,  Thou shall love the  Lord thy  God with all thy soul and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself.

 And  Jesus said unto to him,  Thou hath answered right, this do, and thou shall  LIVE.

 This verse says how to INHERIT LIFE!!   Is this true for TODAY? dan p

Dan, that will ALWAYS be true....But, no man can do so perfectly and truly not even close~so, we MUST trust in one that did, which was Jesus Christ.

And  Luke 10:25,  Jesus says to that lawyer, What is written in the LAW?

He did indeed.

Are you saying that we are to keep the LAW of Moses?

I never said those words.

That is what Jesus says to do!!

The law said: "This DO and live". Yet we all know that no man can fulfill the demands of God's holy, good, and spiritual law...... Impossible.

That is what Jesus is telling all to keep?

Dan, Jesus answered the man's question according to the scriptures~yet he only was showing the man that NO MAN can keep the law perfectly, but if one did, the law would grant that person eternal life. There's only one person who did so perfectly and that was Jesus Christ.

As believers we all delight in God's spiritual law, knowing there's no law more spiritual than God's law summed up in ten commandments. We do not seek life from the law, only using the law as a rule of life to walk by in order to please God.
