Oh yeah, this was a good one. The music for this one, once again, has been performed all over the world along with all kinds of music from this composer. Every Final Fantasy game starting with FFVII had about an hour of CG cinematics like this and they were always staggeringly beautiful. Final Fantasy VIII has some of my favorite artwork.

Cally:

The one I looked at just now was well done from an artistic point of view, yes, though it was a bit bloodthirsty, which doesn't appeal to me.

I couldn't quite figure who the ladies in the picture were supposed to be.

Take care.

John 3.16 contains great theology.

Read God's Word prayerfully every day.

Try vacationing in the South: plenty of sun, and some great churches down there!

(And if folks feel they must have tattoos, have you considered having them in faith related designs?)

You're pretty much asking about the whole story, which is an epic and a drama.

It's an opening where two of the lead characters were training and the guy in white decided to accost the other--a personal rivalry he always seemed to have with the main character in particular. This little episode got them matching scars which was a fitting symbol.

I'd hardly call it "bloodthirsty," personally . . .

I think some of the best openings are as follows: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, and inFamous.  Those are probably my favorite openings out of all of my PS3 games.

Elder Scrolls IV:  Oblivion had a good opening...it was like a movie opening.

^yeah, game cinematics in general are so huge that the cinematic presentation of games has exceeded the experiences of Hollywood in so many ways. In the last few years sometimes I wonder how they still manage to sell tickets.
