I swore I would never diet again. Every time is did I lost too much muscle and the weight came back with a vengeance.
So, I changed my life to eat the way God made food (avoiding all man-made and processed stuff), lost a lot of weight over 10 years, but VERY slowly. I really needed to drop another 50 to be college weight, and I didn't want to wait another 10 years to get to that goal.
My friend and his wife lost a lot of weight on HCG, told me about it. I disregarded it as another failure waiting to happen. Then, for some odd reason, I started studying HCG. Much of what is on the internet is inaccurate hype. But there is good information out there.
I studied up, read the little book written by the Dr. that came up with the program. He does not make any money from all this hype, that says something. This program started development about 50 years ago, so it is nothing new.
I read enough to decide to try it out. The proof in in the pudding.... Lost 30+ so far very rapidly, and I'm happy to say I'm NOT losing muscle! In fact I've gained a bit of muscle as I've exercised a bit more than the Dr. says I should.
I'm so close to my ultimate dream weight goal I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
BTW: Before anyone starts on a rant about how losing weight slowly is supposed to be "better," come up with some proof. Come up with a study. Don't just repeat what we've already been told all our lives. Dumping the obesity is a great thing, there is nothing healthy about hanging onto it for a few extra years.
Also BTW: Homeopathic HCG is an absolute scam. Don't waste time or money on it. If you're interested, go to a real Dr. and get the real stuff.
And the most important thing is; They teach you how to keep the weight off!
