TC, I used Erythritol a little, but my main sweetener is monk fruit. I love that stuff. Many a night, I'll make a chocolate cake, brownie like dessert in a mug using monk fruit. Stir it up - zap it in the microwave, and there's my dessert - a warm chocolate something or other.
Good advice about avoiding the maltitol. That can cause a big, bad situation in the gut - with no warning.
