So how are y'all doing?
Covid going around in your family? (hopefully not)
Covid keeps going around, around, and around in my family.
My youngest daughter, son-in-law, and grandbaby just got through with two back-to-back sessions of covid (I think they call this rebound covid)
My grandson's girlfriend is pretty sick and just tested positive - again.
My parents are both sick with covid symptoms but they're out of test kits so I'm dropping some over there in a few minutes.
Everyone listed above (except tiny baby) have had the jabs. However, my daughter got booster shots while pregnant with her.
It's like none of them have any immunity against covid whatsoever.
I haven't had a single jab, and keep getting exposed, but no covid. I may have had it that first summer when I lost my sense of taste and smell but had no other symptoms. A couple of weeks ago, I was spending two days at my daughter's house caring for her baby - baby feverish, and daughter coughing her head off with rebound - but I still didn't get it. I have health issues (or co-morbidities as they say) and no jabs, keep getting exposed, but not getting it.
So at least with my family, it appears the people with the jabs, sadly, have no immunity to covid at all.
I'm not claiming I won't get it - but as it stands now, I'm not getting covid like my jabbed family members are getting.
I feel so bad for all of them.
What about you and yours? Anyone else experiencing something similar?
Not getting it again but have been exposed recently. I am a pureblood.
Strep seems to be going around quite a bit with kids now

You might actually have natural immunity. They say it does not exist but what do they know.
Since I had the long covid... I have made it a daily thing to use XLear. When I leave the house and when I get back.
In Feb when I had the week of covid, and when I had the long covid I just went about life as usual. Feb I stayed home but I did not isolate.... and my mom, in her late 80s never got it cause I had to care for her..... and I refused a mask in the house.
The long covid same thing... but I did not stay home as it took a while to know what it was and by that time I had those barage of tests... ( chemical stress... when I could barely breath. ) and that's when I started ramping up the XLear.... It allowed me to breath when all else wouldn't... not even the prescription Flonase.....
But... it is a shame about the baby. Poor little girl too young to know why she is feeling so bad.
Your family is truly proof that shots do nothing.
But of interest, at least in PA mid to western.... A lot of people who have all the symptoms are testing negative. My cousin and wife tested twice negative and went to the doc and tested neg there also. It is so weird.
The newer symptoms are basically the same as the flu. Flu A is the dominant strain now, so it's not weird. The flu shot isn't that effective either.

She cries and says, "momma, momma." It's so sad.

Seems the only thing the shots do is weaken their immune systems, making them more susceptible to the virus instead of less. It appears that if they get exposed - they get it - every.single.time. What concerns me the most is if this is a permanent situation where they'll always be more susceptible.

Are they giving her anything to help her feel better? Or just riding it out?
From what I hear it seems 'they' are expecting this to be around forever.... I expect it may mutate less and less severe. ::prayinghard::
The one 100 years ago started in 1917 ( summer) as you will see if you look into it..... and it was still going strong in Feb or March of 2021 when my maternal grandmother died. (Mom was 3 years old). Eventually it went away?????
So that is basically 4 years.... we are only at 3.
I posted this elsewhere... ( or not. I might have forgotten) My PCP was and likely still is a "science" following Fauci follower.
The hosiptal and her office is over the eyeballs in "protection" from masks to plastic.
Every time I went to the doc for the past 2 years they have added an additional sheet of 1/4 Plexiglas... overlapping ... to the window where you sign in.
Now, there is just enough room to pass your medical cards through the small opening, or a piece of paper. Certainly not anything other then that.
Last time there, about 2 weeks ago the woman who signs us in was there. A very nice lady.
Well, she had always worn a mask... Office policy and you cannot even enter the building if you dont have one on.....
But this last time NOW... all this time with covid and when we think we should be getting away from it.... she has added a face shield. A really big one. From on top of her head down well below the chin and ear to ear. Two months ago she was not.
Over top of the mask.
I looked to see and she was also wearing glasses.
No one else back in the office had the shield... just her as she greets the people and I could not help but wonder what they have been told or heard about that would make her want to increase the protection like that?
I would be tempted to print out one of the many articles on the ineffectiveness of masks and leave them scattered around the waiting room.
The lady is a branch covidian.
The Cochrane Report was released and showed masking is ineffective for flu like illnesses.
Dr. Vinay Prasad, MD discusses. Vinay is hardly a conservative.

Rella, did you forget to post something? All I see is a period there.

I am still a year behind.... so sorry I should have commented I made a mistake.
That's alright. I made a mistake one time. i thought I was wrong on something, but I wasn't! ::lookaround::

Good one. I'll be using that term in the near future, if you don't mind.

And to this day one of my sticking points about Trump is that Trump didn't fire him.
