Trump just destroyed Britain's 300-year stranglehold on global trade. Trump said that the US would provide cheaper maritime insurance for all ships going through the Strait, Lloyds of London who controlled what goes in, and what goes out then took a financial battering. Lloyds of London increased their insurance, tried to profit, Trump comes in and says the US will provide better and cheaper insurance. Checkmate.
