: Polls

At another Christian Forums site, you can set up polls so that you can see how everyone voted.  It puts the members' names in small font by the answers.  Can we do that here, too?

Interesting.

It's possible, but some people like having privacy in certain polls. If we did that (revealed how members voted), it might ruin some of the polls that are possible because people won't want their answers known.

But I'm not totally ruling it out.

Would it be possible to make that an optional thing?

To the poll creator or the voters?

For the creator, it would be unfair to the voters because as admin said, I twould be a violation of privacy.

For the option to go to the voters, I see no problem. As long as that is ALL who get the oppurtunity/chance-eth.

Interesting concept.  On some polls it would probably be a good things, on others it would not.  For instance a poll asking, "How many of you have cheated on your spouse" would not get a lot of response from people who had cheated if it listed how people voted.
