When you say "matched" what do you mean? Does this mean a homosexual will have access to any child he or she wants to be with, or is there some guideline in place to prevent abuse?

I don't know how many of you are aware of the decision made at the national level of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters to allow homosexuals to be matched with children.
It is one thing to want tolerance, it is another to demand acceptance and to push it upon our society.
I do not know if any of you are involved in BB/BS but I want to encourage everyone to become a Big. At this time with this decision it is more important then ever to have Christians involved as mentors.
Also, please inform your local BBBS that you are concerned for the children of the area. Lets voice our concerns in love and get more involved in BBBS so kids can see what love really is.
Procopius, I loved your "The Secret History."
I was a "Big" when I lived in NC, and I was also on the board of directors for our local chapter there. I can't believe this ruling. However, I will say that the organization does extensive background checks before they let anyone be matched with a caring adult. I just wish they would check into moral backgrounds as well.
