OK. Here's my question. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
On the ESPN ticker that runs across the bottom of the screen, what NBA team is NOK? If it's New Orleans, which I assume it is, what's the 'K'?

New Orleans/Oklahoma City
Do they play home games in Oklahoma City, too? Why?
Wiki:
The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets are a professional basketball team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. They play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team temporarily relocated to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for 2005-06 and part of 2006-07 seasons due to damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.
what they said.
The owner and the city of OKC want them to stay, but the NBA will not allow it.
I saw recently where all of the games are going to be played in New Oreleans next year.
Wasn't "NOK in the NBA" an old John Mellancamp song?
Hopefully, Weird Al won't read that...
There are rumors that the NBA may reward OKC for its efforts (they've given the Hornets a sweeter contract than they have with New Orleans and at least early on the crowds were better). I've heard they might get an all-star game and also heard that the league might block possible franchise relocation to Las Vegas (apparently a couple franchises are considering it) until OKC gets a team.
I'm scared that if the picture doesn't improve in Memphis that the Griz may end up in OKC.

Memphis was a half-way decent team the past couple of years. Gasol's injury this year had a lot to do with where the team is now.

I think it was a B-Side for a Springsteen single.
