Here is one way to attract... something.  Maybe not the kind of attention you wanted, but they do say any publicity is good publicity...

Are you single?  Do you want to be married?  What do you do, to try to attract a mate?

If you don't especially want to be married, are you taking care not to attract a mate?  How do you do that?

Are you married?  What worked for you?

Have you been married before, but it didn't work out?  What was it that attracted you to each other?  Would you look for different things, now, if you were looking for another spouse?

Yes I am and you already know the answer to the second question. I usually just be myself and put God first and then the rest falls right into place.

Well, it surely wouldn't help to be someone else!  Can you imagine keeping up a front for years in a marriage?  I couldn't do it.  I'd be, like, Mrs. Doubtfire, always taking care of the disguise.

Funny video, real sweet talker there. :)

Very happily single and absolutely not looking, nor interested in a relationship  at all.  I have too much to do in my life to get bogged down with marriage and the relationships which are not extensive in the past always distracted from my works, of which are very important.  At my age, the majority of single women tend to have wayy, wayy too much baggage, mainly plenty of x's, kids, emotional issues, need to grow up, etc.  don't need that in my life.  If I decide it's time, she has some very high standards to accomodate, and no, I'm not a shallow individual that insists upon looks being the primary element.  So, for now, it's exclusively me and God and that's all I need and I'm very happy with that.

Time rolls on.  When we're "single and looking", we daydream about how life will be when we finally find The One For Me.  When we're married, that doesn't stop; we're looking forward to a time when we can improve our relationship or a time when we can get a little privacy for goodness' sake --

Single, married, either way, we tend to always be planning and looking ahead.  I think maybe we need to live in the moment more.  Seize it and live it, because it won't come again.

Hi again, we are talking on another forum but we can talk on this one as well.  Well, I am gradually (perhaps too gradually) moving from the single-want to marry-am terrified of the prospect-would love to get married position to single-interested in getting married.  Grew up in a home with no females at all (Mum died when I was two) so no idea how women think (but then Jonathan Edwards who had eight sisters probably hadn't a clue either) or how to find someone.  It doesn't really bother me as I know it will sort it self out one day (at least I think it will).  Not sure if all this rambling is of any help!

Does paying for a ladies dinner count as a courtship ritual? If so, I must be Don Juan.  ::playingguitar::
