: I need some advice again
: Anonymous20 Mon Jun 02, 2008 - 00:06:40
Hello again .  I need some Christian advice on what I should do about this guy I was interested in in high school. I am still not sure if a women is supposed to inquire about a guy, but that's what I am trying to decide if I should do or not. But here's the story. I used to have a crush on this guy in high school(I graduated 3 years ago) he was on the football team. I haven't seen him since then until this past February I ran into him with no one around, just us. It was the perfect time for me to strike up a convo but I made a joke about him walking his dog in the cold and he joked back then I choked.lol . I was in a hurry to get home because I just got off work so I just walked away really fast. I was nervous what can I say? Last week I was on myspace and I ran across some guys page and he had his pic on there and I was like, hey that's him again but I don't think he has a myspace. And I could have sent his friend a message and asked him if he had one but I didn't think that would be a good idea. I also realized that I judged him by the way he dressed and  the fact that he was walking a pit bull lol.. I figured that he probably had a girlfriend or a child or multiple girlfriends. And I also kind of figured that he wouldn't  be interested in me. But after I saw that pic again I figured that I should try to find info on this guy. My cousin happened to be one of the coaches at my old school and it is a large possibility that he knows something about him. Do you think I should inquire or just leave it alone? I am very nervous to do it because I have very negative thoughts and think the worst of things.

I think if you could find out if he was a Christian, that  would save you alot of trouble before you spend  any energy on him.

As far as you being the one to pursue him well that depends I guess on what your comfortable with.

When I was single, I was always shy and would not make a first move, but I have learned that guys sometimes are shy too so someone has to show some interest to get the thing started.
