: Anyone planning on getting Bayonetta?
: dothackzero Tue Dec 22, 2009 - 10:14:50
I wanna get it, but I just wanna make sure that I'm not like fighting against God or God's angels in this game. Does anyone know if in the game, if we are fighting against some god that doesn't exist really exist, or just some random angels or something like that.

Are you referring to the true and living God of the Bible? I don't think you are, so maybe that answers your question...

Sometimes associations can be unsuitable, though, but I've not seen the game.

Take care.

Yeah, I just want to make sure this game isn't anti-Christian or something like that.

I JUST heard from a few of my gamer friends that you're playing a witch, who hunts down angels. That's all I heard, but I'm expecting the worst (being that the angels you kill are, indeed, God's Elect Host). This game, along with Dragon Age: Origins, I will not be looking forward for their release.

Yeah this game looks completely awful from everything I've seen/read. My assessment: junk it.

Just remember all the demons used to be angels. So if you think about it that way, it's not that bad.

Once again, this whole thing looks rotten to the core to me. At this time, I do not plan to look into this thing to try and get anything good out of it.

Honestly, I think that the art of gaming has been downhill for quite some time. Play some old games. That's what I do.  ::cool:: I mean they're cheap as dirt now and they are almost entirely more fun, in my opinion.

Actually I picked up "GamePro"" magazine, and saw that they gave it 4 and 1/2 stars, and even THEY complained about the weird sexual themes being overdone! Also, that the story made absolutely no sense. It basically just sounds like a game designer trying to come up with some "edgy" theme.

I dunno. Again, there's plenty of good stuff out there, and other places to get good action.

Well then hopefully they'll continue on with the Devil May Cry series...

Bayonetta kills demons too.

From what I have read, her costume is her hair, and also her weapon. So the more she uses her weapon, the less she actually wears. Doesn't sound like something anyone should be playing or watching to be honest.

I bought Dragon Age without reading any reviews and gave up halfway through, way too much occult stuff. Mass Effect 2 was great though, and although I am aware of the bad content in it, I didn't really come across any (except one F-word). I think you'd have to really be looking for the bad content for it to happen.

I also tried some Dragon Age Origins and found it to be pretty off-putting.
