Could I hear from my fellow Christians out there what online Christian dating sites you all found were the best (those of you that have used them).
What I mean  by best is..... Which ones had the most sincere Christians on them, and which ones got some responses.
I have joined 2 sites and spent some money only to find there never is any responses on one and not that much activity on the other, and I have an attractive photo.
Let me know

You say on your other thread that you have only been divorced for 2 weeks so make sure you are actually ready for another relationship, and arent just trying to fill a gap. Jim smoke who counsels thousands of divorced people, says that after a divorce you need 2-3 years to recover before starting another relationship. For me it was over 3 years before I could even comtemplate anyone else, and 6 years before I met my now husband. 2 weeks seems very very quick to me.
While we did meet on a dating site, it was one from the UK so cant advise you there. I have to say that as a women in my 40's (as I was then) the responses were almost non existant, as the women outnumber the men by about 4 to one at that age, and most men want younger women anyway, but dont loose hope. You need to contact people yourself and not wait for them to contact you. You will always find good and bad on these sites, but persevere. I was on 2 different sites on and off for 2 years before I met my husband, and if you have only been divorced for 2 weeks then I am assuming you have only just joined. You will need to give it lots of time. A lady I know was on one site for 7 years before she met her husband, bless her.

I have tried 3 different dating websites now, and I think they are great.  The internet makes it easier to find people with similar interests and it breaks down social barriers, and it is proven that people get to know each other faster through the internet.  However, even this does not make life easy, but it helps!

Just as "choosenone" said, you need to make the effort to contact other people.

I got hit with a "no-contact" order from a girl I have never met.  Be cautious.....there are freaks everywhere....christian or not.

***Link Removed*** has been pretty good for me, though there are the obvious exceptions to the rules there, like at other sites.  Still, there  have been many sincere on-fire christians there.  They have some message boards that are somewhat like the good stimulating conversations we have here, too.

You will find some that treat you as Chosenone talked about, going for younger women; you will find some that do what I do (I absolutely attack the quality women that are a few years younger OR older!!!).  The experience has been good for me, making me communicate, or face that I REFUSE to communicate.  But I HAVE had to back off and say to everyone that I'm going to be gone for a while--spending more time and energy/enthusiasm/thought here than in the Bible ::eek::  !!!!!

Just a note to those interested, in addition to this forum, we also run the dating website Real Christian Singles (http://www.realchristiansingles.com). It's free to join.

Yes,

As Admin has stated he actually does have a fine web site.

It is a thing to watch someone before getting into a relationship with them. See how they interact with others before committing to a relationship with them and his web site does just that.

Granted it won't allow for you to see all of their behavior but it will give you a clue as to who not to talk to.
