Online. Free. Excellent engine and graphics. 15 players on a team, and a good team will do great, a poor team will only last a couple minutes, and team selection is random and computer chosen. But you can form platoons with your buds and work together on a team. Clans are going to be an option soon, the game has just gone from closed Beta to open Beta. WWII Russian, German and US hardware, authentic as possible, upgradable.
It's a FPS through the gun sight, either arcade mode or view slit mode when moving, switches to top-down mode when you are using artillery. Battles last 15 minutes or until all of one side is killed, or their base is captured.
Been playing since November and love it. Google World of Tanks.
PS: Since I will be turning 65 in May, does this make it a "grown-up" game?
I have heard so much about this game, I actually signed up for the beta but stopped short of downloading the game.. Sounds like it's worth it though!
