I seem to have lost all perspective! So, help please :)
I met a nice guy (hooray!!), online but he is local, a Christian, handsome, very involved in his church (yay!), really loves God (double yay!), got his life together, just generally a pretty cool guy. Of course, all that could be a front but he has been open about work, church, etc, so if he was hiding a terrible secret life it would be kind of hard LOL!
So...we talked on the phone Sunday and it was nice. Texted good night before bed...and...that's it. My normally decisive over-confident self is having a hard time deciding if I should text him? Or wait? I don't chase men, ever. Just not my style.
I don't know why I am hung up on this. Maybe I am just being a big freaky Nerd Alert because this is the first guy that I seriously would consider dating since being saved almost 3 years ago.
What should I do since my brain has gone to mush?

Uhh...just under pressure?? (( ::giggle:: ))
fass....don't text him. This would be a great "test" to see if he is serious or just playing games. If he is truly interested, he'll text or call you soon....
He should have some idea by now that you are interested. Be patient(love is patient) Allow him to pursue you. Respond when he does, "i'm so glad to hear from you", etc. etc, but don't be the pursuer.
my thoughts.
Well, you can talk, any time you are together, and enjoy being with each other.
I say let him text you first.
Because of your geographic location I would text him or call him.
Yes, you are going to have to almost beat him over the head so he will know you are interested.
He still hasn't and I have lost interest *shrug*
Too many fish in the sea to wait around for the slow ones, KWIM?
I think that if he was interested he would have contacted you by now:-(

Lost interest in less than a week?
Are you sure you wasn't high or something when you chat to him ::eatingpopcorn:
No. I don't get high. What a ridiculous thing to say.
Chosenone I bet you are right but if you're not, there are two reasons a guy doesn't get in touch with a gal. 1) he's not interested and 2) he's too scared to do so.
I don't date sissy scaredy pants LOL!!!

Be patient fass, I was on dating sites for 2 years before I got my man. ::smile::
There is a third reason.
He currently is overwhelmed by another prospect of dating but she isn't serious & is only playing him. Seen that a lot too.
She seems quite serious to me though.
It may be that sometimes on line people can be getting to know a few men/women at the same time, just to see who works out etc.
Fass, just put it down to experience. I got to know a lot of men when I was on a Christian dating site for 2 years on and off. Mailed several for quite some time, made a few friends, and actually met up with four. The forth was the one, my now husband of 6 years.
JohnDb, I'm pretty straight up about stuff, I wouldn't play someone. But I can understand your point of view :)
I'm in no rush, it was just kinda cool to meet a guy who I was attracted to who is actually a Christian. Oh well, there still are plenty fish out there and I am still happy being single.
I think John was referring to him being interested in another woman who is not that serious about him but playing him. In other words, someone is getting his attention and he likes her but she won't commit but that doens't mean he isn't hoping that she will. Or something like that.
If a guy has a lot of options then sometimes a woman does have to be the pursuer to a point. Not like she is chasing him and desperate, but guys don't pick up on subtle hints and if another girl shows more interest then he is going to go for her because she strokes his ego.
Did you explicitly tell this guy you were interested in going out on a date or something? or did you have a nice conversation that made it seem like you were more interested in friendhsip than romance?
LOL!! Well, I certainly hope he found someone to stroke his ego LOL!!!
