3. DON'T ENCOURAGE SIN:
Do not endorse or encourage behavior that the Bible calls sin (adultery, premarital sex, pornography, dishonesty, abuse, sexual deprivation, etc.).
I'm relatively new here and came over from another site that closed down. I have a question please.
The above rule, #3......there is a person commenting on a number of the marriage and women threads
and they endorse divorce and have not got a clue about what Christianity looks like within a marriage
Their philosophy is if you are not happy, then get a divorce. They have stated they left their husband
and married someone else...no biblical grounds other than divorce...they appear to think they are a
Christian
My question....if rule number 3 above is valid, then why are the views being expressed by this person allowed
to continue?
They have consistently responded to anyone asking questions or in pain...just get a divorce. God wants you to be happy
At the least, I think they should be told not to give that as 'godly' advice....a number of people have tried to
correct them, but they appear to enjoy telling others to divorce because that is what they did
Seriously, at the other forums I was a part of, they would have been told that was not considered good advice on
a Christian forum and they would have been asked to stop.
Aren't these threads moderated?

This has been noticed and it is being dealt with.
Sun Spot. Yes, you are correct about the rules and yes the forums are moderated. In the future, reporting a post will direct a moderator to that post to be dealt with. However, we are people too and are not always available immediately, so it may take time to address an issue. I have been unavailablre most of this week and will only be able to get on and do some modding later tonight as I can't do it on my phone.
Hopefully the posts you mention have now been dealt with. If you see any more that break the rules, then please report them.
