For some, the heavens, where all spiritual blessing flow are figuratively covered in brass, preventing any heavenly blessing from being released to the earth zone!
In Malachi the daily rituals and sacrificial offerings had become mere routine. There was weariness and boredom overshadowing the minds of the priest. Their sacrifices were not being received by God. The routine was outwardly right but were inwardly wrong, because all prayer, worship, and giving must come from a righteous heart and pure motive.
Are we like the days of Malachi? How do we open the windows of heaven? How do we walk in the favor of God?
We are to Study to show ourselfs approved to God - KJV only - all other bibles this has been changed

We grow spiritual first by what we know!
without correct knowledge we are full of milk and of little use.... We are to learn the meat of the word.
Not saying doing works isn't important but learning the word is first on the list for believers.
