I love Switchfoot.  I wish they would come to my home town more often.

				My son is a big fan, we saw them play in a daylong concert with about 15 other artists..they all did about 4-7 songs and Switchfoot closed the show out.  They were good, but so loud, too.  I guess I'm showing my age  ::smile::
He's learning guitar now so he can play some of their songs.
Songs like "Gone" are more to my liking, but I do appreciate them as artists.

				We are.  ::smile::

				I like Switchfoot.  My son's band, A Lion Named Roar, has opened for them a couple of times.

				Been a fan since their 1st album came out.  We went to the same college in San Diego (PLNU)... though I didn't know them there and they ultimately went to UCSD later.  I remember seeing them in concert for the 1st time at Canes in Ocean Beach.  They were opening for Third Day along with All Star United.  That was a great concert.  Except that Third Day's sound guy must have been deaf!  There's loud rock music and then there's makes-your-ears-bleed music...which is unacceptable.  And this was Third Day, for crying out loud!  It wasn't like It was a Living Sacrifice or Tourniquet concert back in the day.  Which, by the way, would have been SWEET!  But yeah, Switchfoot rocked the house that night and played like a headliner.  All 3 bands were excellent that night.  Still one of the best concerts I've been to ever!
