This shouldn't be newsworthy. Bono is pretty outspoken about his faith in God at times and publicly confesses that U2, while not a "christian band" is a "band of christians."
Bono said: "I lie all the time. I only always tell the truth in my songs." He also supports the mass murder of unborn babies, sodomites, cross-dressing, sings 'Sympathy for the Devil,' a blasphemous song, etc. He's no Christian.

I don't sense much power in his worship, I thought he just sang the songs ::shrug::, like many of these secular pop types singing praise music who often don't understand the true meaning of the song.
