Hello from New Zealand. (First time here)
My wife and I am very much Christian, we read the Bible, we praise Jesus, we love the Lord thy God, and cannot wait to get to Heaven. We have been married 13 years. I am 53 and my wife is 46.
My wife and myself seek to clarify Christian's thoughts on the place or Masturbation within a Christian Marriage. We posted three questions on this topic in a General Chat Forum website (which we assume contained both Christians and non-Christians) with interesting results. To compare those results and help my wife and I to clarify our thinking on this matter, we would like to post those same three questions in this Christian Chat Forum.
Having been a Christian for over half my life - I have noticed that some Christians get a bit squeamish on this particular topic, but my wife and I both think it is a topic that is not black and white in the Bible and discussing it here would help us........and possibly others on this site.
My Question is: Can I get your joint permissions to post on such a topic here? I would feel better (being new here) if a few of you at least said it would be OK.

I have moved this to the sexual topics in marriage subforum, that is where you need to post the questions.
Personally I see no problem with it as long as each of you is totally above board with regards to why you want to do it, and what your mind is on during the process. (and of course you have complete approval from your spouse)

I would have to ask why you feel the need to do, it because each partner is supposed to meet the sexual needs of the other.
If for whatever reason one partner cant have sex for a while due to illness or similar, then I cant see what is wrong with it as long as its not masturbating to porn or fantasising about other people. Once the illness or whatever it is is over, then resume sexual relations and stop masturbating. Another example may be if one spouse is away for a long period, of course preventing sex with each other.

Chosen - there can be any number of good reasons for that. From my time on the TMB boards - there were several couples that liked to put on fun shows for each other. Some do it in order to teach their spouse how to better service them. Some do it to learn better control or to overcome problems.
Some women gave themselves a few Os as a warm up just before hubby got home so she could pounce on him as he walked thru the door ... ::smile::
So there are a plethora of legitimate reasons to do the deed.

And that is fine too.
What ever works for each couple. (assuming it stays within biblical boundaries)
