I inadvertently created a new user ID when I already had one. I'm sure this is against the rules so I am self reporting myself. I'd like to keep Saved.through.Faith and delete Human (the newer user name).
As long as you are not using additional accounts to avoid moderation, it is not against the rules. However, if you would like to delete your account, just go to your profile and click "Delete this account."

Greetings S.T.F.~could you start a thread and explain to me what you consider fundamentalist and Calvinist? Just curious. I have never heard anyone use them two together, as I have fundamentalist
Baptist, just as my good friend Charlie claims to be. I see you are from St. Louis, Mo. I have two friends that lives there~ owners of AMF Electric, on of them lives on the
"Hill", which I'm sure you know where that is. A great place to eat.

I apologize for taking so long to answer your question. I got involved in two other Christian forums, problems with my health, problems at work, and this forum got temporarily forgotten. But I am back now and hope to be a positive contributor.
In answer to your first question, I no longer consider myself a Calvinist. I revised my profile. I had a revelation from the Holy Spirit that my thinking along Calvinist lines (like R. C. Sproul) was in error. The Holy Spirit pointed me to scriptures in Job which led me to the truth. I call myself a Fundamentalist because I believe in the inerrancy of scripture. I use scripture to translate scripture, but do not hold to any one translation as the King James - Only believers do. My preferred translations in order are: NASB, NIV, HCSB, ESV and KJV. I am non-denominational. I am comfortable in any denomination that believes we are saved by grace through faith, not by works.
I was born and raised in St. Louis and still follow the Cardinals. I have lived and worked in Missouri, California, Illinois, and Indiana. I went back to work in the St. Louis area in 2007, but moved to Indiana where I currently reside with my wife of 36 years.
I am a multi-disciplined engineer by education and experience. Reconciling the Bible with science is important to me. My conversion to Christianity was miraculous. I will share that testimony sometime in the future. My two main focuses are God's grace and creation. I will probably post a lot in Apologetics and maybe Christian Politics. I am Pro-Life and Pro-2nd Amendment. I am also a Gap Theory adherent.
