Years ago when my late parents were in their 50s and 60s my Mom became a great
advocate of taking vitamins. She started with C and D and before long she had a collection
of maybe 10-15 bottles of various ones that she took every day and she got Dad to take them
also, although his were not as numerous. Did it help prolong their lives? Well, I suppose so.
They both lived until their mid 80s, and for Dad that was up to that time better than any
of his male relatives. He did get Alzheimer's the last two or three years of his life.
So now my wife and I are that same age, and we are on to taking vitamins as well. They
seem to help some. What do you all think of them on this website? Any recommendations?
4given, I take a few supplements, such as D, B12, CoQ10, and K. I also take an herbal concoction I make with turmeric, black pepper, and coconut oil. That's a powerful anti-inflammatory that keeps the aches and pains down to a manageable level.
I am a huge proponent of Vitamins....
It all started with me when I had a bone density test and was not diagnosed with osteo parosis but he told me that there were indications.... He prescribed vit D3 and I then researched.
That was 3 years ago and I still do not have it... and may never.
I take a multiple vitamin, and Eye vitamins
In addition I take Vit A, B100, C, D3, K2,Magnesium and now tart cherry extract ( for pain)
Rella, I started getting my magnesium transdermally through epsom salt baths. I use a boatload of salts in my bath, too. In warm water, not hot. Hot baths cause us to detox through our skin, but warm baths cause us to absorb - taking in the magnesium in the epsom salt. Getting my magnesium this way helps since I can get a little tummy problems with oral supplementation.
I take THC in my brownies.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. ::giggle::
Can't go wrong with vitamins.
Thank you every one for the comments. I know that the Lord Jesus is good for the soul,
and I also suspect that vitamins are good for the body. Thank you.
Vitamins are awesome! The reason they start with vita is because they are vital. The medical profession is only just now coming back to them, after being the ones to discover them. There's a massive amount more money in pharmaceutical drugs than there are vitamins and that's why doctors hardly ever mention vitamins. But the research is there. Vitamin D is probably top of my list.
