The feel-good story of the year in college football.  Only two wins last year, and the year before that.  Only eight wins over the last four years.  This year 9-3 and headed for the Rose Bowl.  Great job by Ron Zook as head coach.  Gotta love these guys.

I really wish it was ASU and not USC going to the Rose Bowl.  They have the same record.  There really should have been a tie-breaker game.

yep, the Hoosiers had a good year.  i grew up a bit more than an hour south of Champaign and a little more than two hours from Bloomington.  i am a diehard Illini fan, my dad was always a Hoosier fan.  made some interesting moments in front of the television.

One of these centuries Duke will make every other team tremble.

I'LL BE WATCHING THE ROSE BOWL!  I live in Illinois and am looking forward to an Illini win!

GO ILLINI!!!  GO ILLINI!!!   GO ILLINI!!!   WIN!  WIN!  WIN!!

I have to say that after meeting so many Illini fans at the Final Four in St. Louis that there is just no way I could root for USC against them.

They were great folks and I loved the way they rooted so hard for Michigan State in the semi-finals.

After the semi games there are always a wad of people outside trying to buy tickets to the finals from people that are there to root for one of the teams that lost. I noticed several Michigan State fans going out of their way to sell their tix to Illini fans

I like Michigan State, too.  My son-in-law is a big Michigan State fan, and lives in Michigan, as well.  We stay local in our support of teams!  ha!

But right now, it's

GO, FIGHT, WIN, ILLINI!!!   YEAHHHHH, ILLINI!!!  WIN!  WIN!  WIN!!!

Petals

Today's the day!!!  The big Rose Bowl Game is this afternoon.  Anyone watching???   ::eatingpopcorn:

Oh, and in case you didn't hear me before...

::announcment::  GO ILLINI!!!

Petals

Oh well...maybe next year.   ::shrug::    We got creamed!   ::cryingtears::
