Things I can't watch:

1)  Spongebob
2)  Ice Hockey
3)  Awards Shows (Music or Acting)
4)  Trading Spaces
5)  Tennis
6)  Larry King Live
7)  Shows like L.A. Law
8)  People's Court
9)  Crossing Over with Johnathan Edwards
10)  Coaching shows (where the coaches talk about the last game)

By the way, who is Gary?  ???

Oh man, I love the old movies.  I think they are much better than the movies today.  (By the way, most movies today are just rip offs of the old movies).

Bon Voyage

my wife loves movies from the 40's 50's early 60's.  I really don't..

There are BG movies that are cool.  Like the Godfather.

Son of a Preacher Man

1. Anything on Nick (obviously)
2. Anything on CBS (Even Letterman isn't as good as he used to be.)
3. Woody Allen Movies
4. Home Related Shows (i.e. Trading Spaces)
5. Reality TV shows
6. Daytime Talk Shows
7. B Action Movies (Dolph, Van Darn, Segal, etc.)
8. Slasher Movies
9. The NBA (Love college though)
10. Network news

Actually, the only TV show I watch at all is "24".  Otherwise I watch movies or FOXNews.

In H.S., a Christian buddy and I started calling him that because we thought it was funny to seemingly edit our speech for TV content. :noddingsmiley:

The other day I tried to post the four-letter version of this word in the biblical context (i.e. short version of damnation).  It was not a vulgarity in the context of my sentence, but the program (I guess) automatically censored it.  I went back and changed it to condemn so it wouldn't look like I had a trash-mouth.  So this time I figured I'd censor myself.

I darn my bridges.  I also like to man my station and darn the torpedoes!   Frankly, muh dear, I don't give a darn.

INFOMERCIALS!!!!

The Anna Nicole Show
Talk Shows (Oprah, Maury and the like)
Court Shows (anything resembling the People's Court)
Maude
The Golden Girls
.....there are more, but I will spare you the details

duckman

Add the following to your list:

1.  Any reality TV shows
2.  Springer/Mauy/Jenny et al

Barb1957

most sports shows
most tv evangelists
Jerry Springer
Howard Stern
CSI (because that guy bores me)
CSI: Miami (because David Caruso bores me even more than that other guy)
Fear Factor (gets too gross-out)
Survivor
Barney
Sally Jesse Raphael
Dora the Explorer

Bon Voyage

Woody Allen's humor is pretty much humorless in my book.  I can't stand his movies.

Nevertheless

1. "Reality" Shows
2.  Fox News (are you really going to trust a news network run by Rupert Murdoch?)
3.  This stupid kids show featuring cut-out pictures I accidently saw last year.
4.  Barney (it's been said but it bears repeating)
5.  Live surgery (weak stomach)
6.  That stupid Brady Bunch rip off with Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Somers
7.  The Brady Bunch (a pity really, since I was present at the filming of the Kings Island episode and rumor has it my sister can be glimpsed in the background, though I've watched it in slow motion and have never seen her)
8. Soccer (someone once told me that soccer was a religion.  Maybe that explains it:  watching someone else's religion is often incredibly boring :zzzz: .  Unless they're snake handlers.  Which gives me an idea:  maybe if we mix the two and throw a bunch of poisonous snakes on the soccer field, the players will stop milling about in the middle of the field and actually go somewhere.)

A little while ago I would have put Spongebob on the list, but I'm beginning to appreciate the porous little fellow. :alien:

Bon Voyage

Back in the days before DirectV and when we only had 3 channels that were visible, my sunday afternoons were filled with Ron Popeil.  His hairspray for bald men, his food dehydrators, his chicken roasters.

Hey it was bad, but better than canadian tv.
