What is Addiction- A chronic, need for a habit-forming substance etc.
Addiction is not only for those who are addicted to smoking & hard drinks.
Addiction has various forms. Like those who continuously drive fast knowing fully well the dangerous consequences both for them & the others.

Even money, fame & power are like an addiction as those who want these sometimes turn to ways that lead them away from God.
That is why people should try to help those who are addicts in any form,
Not only to save their families & them but also to give them the awareness that they are responsible for themselves & their families & towards everyone.

That is why along with the usual education,
God's people should also be taught how to be responsible & God fearing,
& this would go a long way.

Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.

He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."

As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord's word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him.
Psalm 18:30
