Do you know Roy Ratcliff?  He is certainly a grace-centered minister there in Madison?

Hey, Joel!

My daughter is a voice major.  Phenomenal talent.  To bad she hates performance.  She's going the education route, hopes to teach Choir (& do it right!) in her old high school after she graduates.

Look at this list of congregations for a start:
http://www.cocn.org/congreg.html

 One hint:  If you don't find a church that labels itself "GC/RM", then find a couple of really tightly-wound restrictive conservative churches, and ask them which congregations to avoid.    :D  :0

Hey,

My name is Joel Burcham. My wife, Jill and I live in Madison,WI. I'm working on a Doctorate in Musical Arts in Voice Performance at the UW-Madison.  We'll be spending the summer in Central City, CO, where I will be an Apprentice Artist with Central City Opera.

We're looking for a Grace-Centered, preferably Restoration Movement, Church to plug into that's near Central City.  Central City is 20 miles west of Denver.

If anyone could help, that'd be wonderful!  My email address is JoelTenor74@aol.com.

Thanks and God Bless

Joel Burcham

Joel,

Wish you had posted this two days ago while I was at lectureship in Abilene!  I was in a class with Jack Pape, from East Side CoC in Colorado Springs.  He could have easily supplied the answer.  There is a church in Denver he recommended to me a couple of years ago but I can't remember the name any more.  When I get a chance, I'll send him an email and post the answer here.  I'm at work right now and don't have email from here.

Funny you should ask, Joel.  Actually this is near my neck of the woods.  I am in a west Denver suburb, probably as close as your gonna get to Central City. And sometimes I find myself asking the very same question!!!

And Janine, what you said, sad,but true.

I hope we have the opportunity to meet you Joel.  I sent a pm to you with more info..  There are a couple of exciting big churches in the area, not coc, that are pretty interesting to me as well.
