OOOP...your are right,,,,meant to say "the body of Christ"....not Heaven...you would think someone who has traveled the road as long as i have would not make that mistake....long day I guess.
It's ok.  The apostle Matthew had the same problem.  Just don't let it happen again.

Just a word of caution:

If I am not mistaken, Blituri is basing a lot of his/(her? -- sorry, I don't have time to look that up just now) teachings about El and Elohim and Jehovah/Yahweh on the so called Documentary Hyposthesis, or JEDP theory. In short, this theory assumes that God did not use Moses to write/collect all five books of the Pentateuch (Genesis to Deuteronomy), but rather that they came from various sources that were disconnected from each other and had very different ideas of God. Might as well take your Bible and start cutting it all apart with scissors, let the wind blow them across your lawn and see which ones cluster where. Actually it's a lot more intellectual than that, but it really is just a straw house built on assumptions that the Bible is not reliable and so let's see where we can come up with different explanations of its origin that what it claims for itself.

Jesus spoke of the entire collection, the Torah (or Torah and Prophets and Writings, etc), as the inspired Word of God and free from error, and Peter said that all the scriptures are in agreement, no part teaches something that differs from the rest (2 Peter 1 if I recall correctly, about verse 20 ff).

Blituri, if you read this and if I have you wrong here, please let me know -- no harm intended, just want to make it clear that we are not all in agreement about your teachings of biblical history -- for my two cents.

Allah has no Son according to the Quran and they deny the Deity of Jesus.  Thus different from the God Christians worship.

As to the Jewish belief, obviously we worship the God of the Old Testament, but the Jews rejected God among us Jesus and thus rejected the Christian view of God.  (And in fact true Judaism).

eveh

All Jews did not reject Jesus. Who do you think his disciples were?  They were Jews. The first people to be converted were the Jews. Peter was a Jew. A lot of Jews then and now do accept Jesus as their Messiah.

Hey I believe there is no any god. I am a king of myself an I am the god for me. So I don't worship any god. Whenever I see my face in a mirror I judge myself and think I am the king and god of mine.

I assumed you would understand that I did not mean all Jews, I apologize for the misunderstanding.  Judaism as practiced today denies that Jesus was the Messiah and the Son of God.

I believe true Judaism (as Paul describes it) is seen in the Christian faith and in the fullness of the church, which includes by Jew and Gentiles (Ephesians 3).

I know about the Documentary Hypothesis but little OF it.  Both the Old and New Testaments identify the writing prophets as speaking by the Spirit OF Christ.  Peter and the others were chosen to bear witness as eye- and ear- witnesses of Jesus of Nazareth as "making the prophecies more perfect." Then, he identified his recorded "memory" as the way to mark a false teacher. Furthermore, it is in reading the prophets and the fulfillment of the prophecies which would would cause the "Day Star" to arise in our hearts.

Christ in the prophets warns about the lying pen of the Scribes, and the Scribes were originally Kenites in a sacrificial system to which God finally abandoned them after the elders "fired God." Jesus also warns about parables "from the foundation of the world." It seems clear that Moses--aware of the Egyptian, Canaanite and Babylonian creations--debunked them. The Heavens and Earth as "gods" DID NOT create the other gods and everything using a series of "gods." Rater, The one true El as Jehovah created the heavens and earth and everything in them. He did it exclusively through His Word (as in "He Spake") and not with any 'godness' outside of Himself.

Jer. 10:9 Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.
Jer 10:10 But the Lord (Jehovah) is the

[1] true (Elohim) God, he is the
[2] living God (Elohim) , and an
[3] everlasting king (ascends the throne):
at his wrath the earth shall tremble,
and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
                [Israel had become a NATION]

Jeremiah 10:11Thus shall ye say unto them,
The gods (not true,  Elah h426))
that have not made the heavens and the earth,
even they shall perish from the earth,
             and from under these heavens.

Jeremiah 10:12 He hath made the earth by his
[1] power, he hath established the world by his
[2] wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his
[3] discretion.  [intelligence, argument, reason, mentality]

His Word created all thing in the same way that God used his power, wisdom and discretion to create the world. But, these were not 'additional persons.'  This is the definition of The Christ OF God.

1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus,
who of God is made unto us
                  wisdom, and
                  righteousness, and
                  sanctification, and
                  redemption:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of glory, may give unto you the
                spirit OF wisdom and
                [spirit of] revelation in the
[spirit of] knowledge of him: Ep.1:17

In Isaiah 11 the Seven Spirits as lamps on the Branch are spirits OF forms
        of knowledge.

    Jeremiah.10:13 When he
[1] thunders, the waters in the heavens
[2] roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth.
He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the
[3] wind (spirit) from his storehouses. Jeremiah.10:13

        Owcar (h214) o-tsaw'; from 686; a depository: - armory, cellar, garner,
        store (-house), treasure (-house) (-y).

The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure,
the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season,
and to bless all the work of thine hand:
and thou shalt lend unto many nations,
and thou shalt not borrow. De.28:12

Declare what is to be, present it--let them take counsel together.
                Who foretold this long ago,
who declared it from the distant past?
Was it not I, the LORD? (Jehovah)
And there is no God (Elohim) apart from me,
                a righteous God (Elohim)
                and a Savior;
there is none but me. Isaiah 45:21

Jer. 10:14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge:
every founder is confounded by the graven image:
for his molten image is falsehood,
and there is no breath [spirit] in them. Jer. 10:14

Neo-trinitarians teaching that God was always three persons or people able to communicate, hold meetings and be worshiped as separated "people" repudiate the Shema of the Jews and endorsed by Jesus of Nazareth.  The people who first used "trias" concur with the New Testament that it was Christ or God's Word, Wisdom or Spirit which always existed in the singular sense, follow the Bible to say that Jesus of Nazareth is spoken of as Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus because Christ inhabited "a body prepared for me." God "made him to be" both Lord and Christ.  Thereafter, it is the singular Jesus as the Christ of God who holds all of the authority vested in the pagan "father, mother and son" still regulating the defunct sacrifcial system in HEROD'S temple.  There is no other name.

Theophilus is the first to use the word "trias" but he clearly speaks where the Bible speaks for those with ears:

The Bible itself proves that the writers of the documents we have, used other documents, especially the court records of kings to summarize an account.  Luke did this to give us Acts and Luke. However, the court records of the abandoned monarchy performing burn offerings which Christ says were not commanded (Isa 1; Jer 7 etal) is now the "patternism" of a few Churches of Christ which, I believe, have had their candles removed with no possiblity of restoration. (Rev 17-18)

I am looking at the two (or more) creation accounts with no energy to plough through the DH concept which probably intends to debunk Genesis and all of the court records. Much of the Bible is not written out of blue sky but teaches the truth about the singular Jehovah to warn a people already condemned to be carried into captivity an death.  John makes use of the Greek paganism to write a write a warning to people the in danger and we who may be in the final affliction (I can hope)

PS: I am an almost 80 year old male: Thanks to you and all of the good working people I now wipe on my testesterone once in a while.

Part of my loss can be blamed on being a wounded Sailor and part of it the loss of most of my old glands. Because it was not directly a war wound, they said that they would not give me a purple heart.  Instead, they said that I would have to settle for a BLUE private part.

Do we all worship the same God?

Since we subscribe to wildly different views of God, I say no.
