The greatest President in history.

Edited to correct the spelling of one of the greatest presidents America has ever known

I miss you Mr. President.

Great video.  To this day, when I think of "the President of the United States," his face is frequently the first image that comes to my mind.

Those were the years of my childhood.  I remember seeing him on TV when he spoke to the nation on the night of the Challenger tragedy.  I would have been 10 years old at the time.

I remember the knee slapping and guffawing from the other side, when he got the nomination. Also I recall the line in back to the future when the professor asked who was the president in 1985, Marty answered, Ronald Reagan. The professor gasped and came back immediately with the retory, "Yeah right, and Grouch Marx is the Vice President."

He was in my opinion the greatest president in my lifetime. (1953 until now) Yes, and that includes Bill Clinton.

In my opinion, the greatest President of my lifetime. (1966 on)
I was in high school when he became President. He restored my faith in this great country. Also, he stood up for what is right, brought stability to a very unstable world (remember the Iran hostage crisis and the Libyan crisis?), helped bring about the downfall of the Iron Curtain, and seemed to unite several peoples into one unified, peaceful community.

To me, he was for the most part, a very honest man who sincerily cared about the well being of others than himself or just his own country.

I was in the Army while Reagan served his 2nd term. Even though the threat of war was always there, I think most of us felt that what we were doing was maintaining peace, not promoting conflict.

I personally will miss you Mr. President
